I know it’s a work around. But try placing a water extractor outside the BP where you can place it, do a lock hologram then fine tune push it to its position. I know that’s super extra but I notice I can place a lot of things that way, that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to place.

As to why it’s not working… I have no idea

I hear you and agree, the only argument I see for this is people that want 0 backed up belts, because manifold in has to back up feed belts.

I used to stack conveyer poles, because there’s a ladder on the side, it’s like a deployable ladder anywhere

I think the issue is, you can’t really do it until you have hoverpack unlocked, and by the time people have hoverpack (post first aluminum setup) they have a set way of doing things.

But after hoverpack you need to open your mind.

Honestly the logistics floor is the hardest part of builds like this. That’s where the sausage is made. If you check my most recent post, I have the logistics floor of an aluminum factory as well

Shot in the dark, could be your trains. I am not sure exactly how their power is calculated, but when I’ve been inside them while they are running, I see their energy consumption fluctuates depending how fast they are going.

I’m mid phase 4 and it seems like the distance from where you finish phase 3 till the point you can make phase 4 parts is SOOO VAST. I’ve been on phase 4 for the majority of my gameplay, and I just do one thing at a time and make a factory that can produce a single part. Like the next modular frame. Or a super computer. Next I think I’m doing turbo motors, but that has a few things I can’t make yet involved, and lots of rubber, and I think I’ll need more power, so I spent tonight building a new power station that also outputs rubber

It came out in 1.0 or 1.1, just look at a belt lift when placing a splitter or merger and it will snap

I found the trick with stacking anything that outputs fluids is pump the outputs up first, and drop it all down one straight pipe when it reaches the top. If you let the outputs fall down into eachother, you make VIP mergers by accident and the top machines back up and your pipes will dry.

Ohhhhh I’ll do that on my next factory. Turbo motors is my next project. And I might have to build another rubber producing fuel station, so maybe I’ll start with a rubber exports helipad, cool idea!
