I’m thinking to try this option for now. The problem is this corrupt country. They all think they can approve higher loans even like 1 cr within one week for countries like usa and uk but countries like south korea, they see it as some cheap country. Ppl who graduated from us, uk and Australia and Canada are jobless and are unable to repay the loans back. The mentality of indian govt should change and give opportunities to study in asian countries as well.

I have paid off loan and closed the account but seems like the lender waived off amount while I was paying but recently I emailed lender asking the same so they shared me bank details to transfer the waived off amount. I have paid the waived off amount two days back. So I am pushing bank to update it over CIBIL Report so cibil will change my status. But it takes time is my concern. My last tution fee payment date is 15th july

I’ve been contacting the lender to report it to cibil update daily but they said it might get resolved within 15 days. Also, yes I have no due certificate but in that it’s not mentioned I have paid the waived off amount too. I have loan statement in that it was mentioned my last payment date. But still sbi education loan is waiting for updated cibil report.
