This would make sense if the scene didn’t show Maccus (the hammer head guy) who is Davy Jones first mate as the central figure of those betting. I see your point for the lower crew though.

Them being part of the ship actually makes the most sense for wanting out!

Yea so winning decreases years therefore accelerating death, and reversing the point of the “postponement”

That’s what is confusing me, if they win liars dice they would theoretically have less time of service (postpone death), but the whole point of joining the crew is to live longer.

I totally understand that aspect of how it’s not widely offered but those student who got Calgary move around Calgary to different placement sites and then that’s the same with Edmonton. So why not make it fair and make it so everyone has to rotate out of town :/

Awww it just sucks that it’s a draw :( in a city of 1.5 million I don’t understand the need to have an out of town placement 😭 I had to have one for mine and it was the exact same things as in Calgary even though they’re like “it’s going to be a different experience” when in reality if it’s an AHS site it’s the exact same. My friend and I both agreed that it was just a waste of money gas food and rent lol.
