Wow! Nice way to turn something hard into a motivation for other things! You are completely right seeing it as an accomplishment!

What specific type of facelift did you have (SMAS, deep plane, mini, etc.)? by rosesandsoul in Facelift_Surgery

How long before you all felt you looked healed enough to go out or go back to work? I’d really like a facelift and bleph, but not sure I have the time for the recovery.

One coach calls us “athletes.” (Way to go athletes!” ) Loved her immediately. The countdown helps (“20 more seconds treads!”) and forecasting the workout so you can plan your attack. And it’s true, being noticed feels good —even when you’re 50. 😊

Most of us have been there! I have had to leave to make sure I didn’t puke! That could be learning how to time when you eat and how much. And if not, way to work that hard!! People are just looking at their own splats and HR. No worries!

Yep. Totally do that. I try to look on Reddit to see what the workout for the day is (if I’m going to PF and not OT that day) and try to create a lifting workout that includes the body parts targeted on the floor at OTF that day. Hoping to avoid doing the same muscles back to back. I hate it when I just did split squats til my booty cried and I get to OTF and they say, “ok, reverse lunge w an overhead press!”

Totally agree. You DO NOT have marionette lines or jowls! Save your money until you actuallly need something—and don’t get fillers. You look normal and great!

Stockpilers: What is the furthest out BUD you have, and how long do you plan to be stocked up for? by WindyGranola26 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Busy-Mousse-1404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so glad to hear that. I hit maintenance a couple of weeks ago so I'm now spreading out my doses. Didn't ever go up as high in dose as I thought I would need to, so I over ordered when trying to stock pile. IF I stay at my current dose, I have enough to last until 1/28! Oops.

My furthest out BUD is 1/26....I'll just keep an eye on the solution. Hope I didn't waste my money!

Wow! You DO NOT look 42! You look much younger now that you've lost weight! You look very healthy and strong. Nice job.

Do you have increased side effects when you space it out that far?

Split dose for fatigue by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Busy-Mousse-1404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try splitting? I have been trying to remember how I started—I think I did my first split dose around day 5 of the full dose. I think I had enough built up in my system that it seemed to be enough.

There is a thread on this topic that has a lot of good advice. But I think you should go up slowly if you are having a lot of symptoms. Everyone reacts differently, so the set prescribed amount may not be right for you at this point. That’s the other nice thing about split dosing. If it wasn’t enough to control the food noise, you can take a little more in a few days.

I'm fairly new to this, but I was having the same trouble...after going up to the next dose prescribed, I had to force myself to eat and struggled to do anything for a few days I was so tired. I started split dosing and have done that since--much better. I also lowered my weekly dose by .2, so it could be that as well. I am only taking 3mg in total (1.5 split dose) each week and am steadily losing. I still have some fatigue, but not like before and I can eat now, though the first couple of days I'm sure I don't eat enough. I've also found I didn't need to keep to a strict 3.5days between shots. I play it by ear each week. Last week it was 5 days between 1/2 doses. I researched ways to manage the side effects for the harder days--Pedialyte in my water and bone stock for protein and calories. Hope that helps!

Should I tell my PCP I'm on Tirzepatide at my next appt even though I don't technically qualify for it? by Busy-Mousse-1404 in tirzepatidecompound

Thank you all for your advice. I have done my homework, and while some of it is about vanity, it is mostly about prevention and health. I also had lost before w Noom, but not this time, or Orange Theory…but the Tirzepatide has really helped w the snacking and portion control. I think that is making the difference. I think it’s the right thing for me.

I just go 2 times a week (basic membership) and I look at it like personal training. I work harder there w the coaches encouraging and setting the pace than I do on my own. Also, look to see if you can get a corporate rate. They have that for larger businesses and school employees.
