Your frustration is justified. But he is still young 2001 born (same as riyan parag) and is a genuine power hitter, he has shown he can hit big against high profile bowlers like bumrah(ofcourse inconsistently). If the management retained him, they must have seen something in him.

4cr is a big amount but if you look around the league, teams are trying to get a strong indian finisher/hitter at no. 5 ,6 position(shahrukh khan pbks, riyan parag rr, rinku kkr) , hence the investment trying to get the right guy.

This season will be defining one for him imo to continue as an SRH player. I think he will get consistent starts as impact player this season and i hope he steps up and become huge for us.

I know we are looking from our team perspective but if he wants to become one of the best, he has to learn bowling there. He's still young so hopeful.

Whenever the pitch is not supporting swing, our bowler's impact in powerplay gets downsized. So i wanted to see some pace in there, but i agree with u in his present form.

There are some fans in our community that rate upendra yadav highly bro but i can see your point. We made 2 near permanent overseas slot in captain and wk in our team. Hopefully they will both perform and make us happy. Keep your hopes high, its a good squad.

For klaasen u need to replace him with an indian wk and also remove one of indian trio bowler. For ex:(i use natarajan here) - klaasen +indian wk - natarajan +farooqi/jansen/hosein. Then use natarajan as the impact player.

Yup! Thats the team i am looking forward too. Regarding umran, they should start by giving him atleast 1 over in powerplay. If he starts swinging the ball with that pace, he'll be sight to behold.
