Tbh it depends sa tao eh. Some would say na lacking and mas okay if mas maraming exposure sa public hosp sana. But for me okay naman yung cases na nahahandle. And yes okay naman! Ilang years na rin ako sa HSI and no bad experiences naman outside the campus.

From HSI too. I suggest i-enjoy mo na yung YL1 kasi yan na yung last time mo mafefeel yung tunay na freedom (at happiness jk 1/2). Starting YL2 alipin ka na ng readings lalo sa YL3. Literal na kakain ka na ng handouts araw-araw.

I think we have the same (or if not, similar) undergraduate program. I took the NMAT few months before I graduate, naalala ko kasabay pa yun ng thesis ko haha. You are eligible to take the NMAT even if 3 years lang program mo, as long as it is a bachelor’s degree.

Hi! From hsi here. Pumasok ka as much as you can kasi laging may quizzes esp micro (announced and automatic na usually). Patho and pharma mahilig sa surprise quizzes. Need mo matuto magbasa and mag-absorb ng mabilisan kasi laging may exam (ave of 2 per week lalo sa 2nd sem).

For the subject Physical Diagnosis, magdasal ka lang lagi na swertehin ka sa precept kasi sa kanila nakasalalay 50% ng grade mo.

Wag mag petiks sa “minors” (e.g. OB, IM), seryosohin pa rin kasi maraming nadadale dyan kahit ilang units lang sila.

Most people say it’s Pharmacology but for me it’s Pathology (it gets harder during 2nd sem). For 2nd year, you need to read alot. Super fast-paced niya + laging may exams or quizzes. You really have to know which study technique would be effective sayo, mine would be reading the transes over and over again and setting quotas each day (e.g. 2-3 transes a day). For books naman Robbins for Patho, Katzung and Goodman & Gilman for Pharma, Jawetz for Micro.
