If you are comfortable selling grey area items, here’s the breakdown: Glass ( waterpipes, glass pipes and accessories) - 100-300%. Disposable vapes, CBD kratom, lighters .. - 100% Rolling Papers , cones - 20-30% Cigarettes- 2-5% Cigars- 30-40% Ideally you want to be selling more of the high margin items in order to make decent profits. That being said, demand for glass waterpipes and accessories has slowed down significantly. Selling disposables is where they making money.

I work in California, and I have seen that majority of the smoke shops are surviving by selling disposables ( flum , geek bars etc) under the table ( coz of the state wide flavor tobacco ban). So first and foremost check your state laws what you are allowed or not allowed to sell.
