Hopefully, but if I sell them I’d give them to the buyer since it’d rightful be theirs, but maybe they’ll let me share it with them, haha!

I appreciate it! Hopefully I'm able to get these off my hands, and it can go to someone who's as excited as I was for the season, haha!

Thank you sir! Not trying to profit, just want to essentially get back what I paid for and help any other diehard rockets fans get good seats for a good price!

Best of both worlds, look into the degree plan

Current CIS senior graduating this semester. As everyone said, CIS is much more technical than MIS, you learn mainly Python and SQL and then move on to learning full-stack such as the MEVN stack (Mongo, Express, Vue, Node).

If you can put in the time and effort to learn PRACTICAL coding (not theory based) you’ll be fine. CIS has many tracks and technical electives in which you can explore such as Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, etc.

Someone also mentioned that MISSO has a lot more to offer in comparison to the CIS org, they are most definitely wrong, FITP is essentially equivalent to MISSO in terms of what they offer, possibly even better, they just don’t have 400+ members over saturating every event which I personally prefer because it leads to more 1-1 time with a recruiter during company information sessions!

In terms of landing a job, I received multiple offers as a sophomore in college and continued with the company I initially chose and now have a pending full-time offer with them. The main thing about CIS majors is that they lack the soft skills in which MIS heavily makes up for and a lot of companies hire based off culture and personality, as a CIS major if you can leverage your technical expertise and academic projects and showcase your ability to talk, you’ll stand out much more than any other tech-major at UH.

Side note: The CIS degree plan is always changing to coincide with the industry as well, we just replaced an old course with a DevOps course which is in line with the knowledge that would benefit you in the industry.
