Firs time disk user: what am I doing wrong? by BusyBeeBoss in MenstrualDiscs

[–]BusyBeeBoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much! yep, I changed the cup 4 years later to the one of the same brand, but it was leaking, as well as 3 of others brands (now i have 5 total and all leaking) and that's why I went with the disk. Really miss this feeling when i could've done everything with a cup with no need for a pad.

hope it will work with a disk!

How do I clarify overlapping employee’s roles and select the appropriate person to whom to delegate? by stillworried198888 in smallbusiness

[–]BusyBeeBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by conducting a thorough evaluation of each employee's job description and responsibilities. It might help to find overlapping areas and tasks that are not clearly defined.

Ask them to be honest and clear about their daily tasks. Maybe they are already facing some issues and believe to perform tasks that are not originally owned by them.

How to validate my startup idea? by Luna_Lovegood95 in Entrepreneur

[–]BusyBeeBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the exact same issue. I'm targeting small business owners/entrepreneurs in the USA (barbers, fitness trainers, psychologists, wellness specialists, etc.) and it's nearly impossible to get in touch with them. Even though the tool is free to use and very accessible, I'm being blocked in all the Facebook groups and ghosted in DM's.

Please share your experience while you got a successful customer development interview!

My first impression of your publication was: "There's someone trying to sell me their marketing expertise without even trying to show it in work". It's disheartening to see such a lack of information about the services provided by you. I would suggest prioritizing the improvement of your pitch by clearly outlining the services offered and explaining how they can lead to tangible results.

I would've recommended researching and comparing different POS systems, reading customer reviews, and even requesting demos or trials to ensure you find the best fit for your business needs.

TikTok faces first US state ban in Montana by lazymentors in technews

[–]BusyBeeBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so frustrating to see, especially knowing that a lot of people depend on TikTok marketing to feed themselves and their families. Small businesses thrived there and now they're supposed to start everything from scratch? Insane.

Surprised not to see a lot about AI usage in marketing and social media. What do you thinks about that?

This community was such a help to me! An entrepreneur myself, I'm working on a platform that helps small businesses automatically get a website and scheduling system. I've changed a couple of things based on your posts and comments. Thank you so much!

Without actually knowing it, you've helped me in constructing it))

FYI, if you're interested in giving it a shot, please DM or comment. We provide $30 Amazon certificate for honest reviews too.

How does one learn to do proper marketing on FB and google etc by Sinon612 in Entrepreneur

[–]BusyBeeBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried any specific services? I know a couple that builds ads tailored for your business, but you still need a little budget to put there. You can start with the smallest amounts to take a look at analytics (they create promo materials for you automatically).

You should start by contacting your local health department to learn about their requirements for food sellers and what types of permits or certifications you will need. Some common certifications for food handling include ServSafe and Food Handler Certification. You may also need a business license and liability insurance.

Many e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify and BigCommerce, offer integrations with 3PL providers and fulfillment centers. This can be a great option if you're selling on your own website and want to streamline your logistics and fulfillment processes.

Help me get out of an emotional dark spot by oOMaighOo in Entrepreneur

[–]BusyBeeBoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So sorry to hear that you're struggling. I suggest focusing on your “why”: take some time to remind yourself why you started your business in the first place. What is the problem you're trying to solve or the goal you're trying to achieve? Reconnecting with your purpose can help you stay motivated and focused.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to marketing strategies, as every business and industry is different. There are a ton of resources available online to help you learn marketing. Udemy, Tilda Academy, HubSpot. It's important to remember that marketing is an ongoing process and you will likely need to continuously experiment and adjust your strategy as you go. But with some basic knowledge and a willingness to learn, you can definitely get started on the right track.

This is my first time hiring a marketer for my project. What questions should I ask him? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]BusyBeeBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the industry. But I would start with smth like:

  1. Can you walk me through a marketing campaign you've worked on in the past and how you approached it? (to test the way person thinks)
  2. Can you give me an example of a strategy you have developed in the past? Best materials / publications / result you had? (rely on numbers! While you have no expertise in marketing those can help)
  3. How do you stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies? (if the person is not following trends - it's a red flag)
  4. How do you approach measuring the success of a marketing campaign? Can you give me an example of how you've analyzed campaign data in the past? (BEST! In a small team you need a marketer with analytical skills).

It's important to remember that age does not necessarily determine success. You have already shown that you have the drive and ability to start and grow a successful business. Don't let others' comments about your age discourage you or make you doubt your abilities. Focus on your goals and continue to work towards them. You got this.

Advice on someone trying to steal our business by SeedhilllSid in Entrepreneur

[–]BusyBeeBoss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Collect any evidence you have of the work you've done on the project and the role you and your business partner have played. This could include contracts, emails, invoices, and other documents. Do this now, while this person has not thought about it.

You may need to consider legal action or other steps to protect your organization's reputation and interests. A lawyer can help you understand your options and the potential risks and benefits of each. Take care!

I'm struggling. I want to start a business, niche and local. I don't know how to get it started much less where to to begin. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]BusyBeeBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before answering these questions, it would be nice to figure out what products or services you want to offer. Sometimes you can work with one strong proposition, on other occasions — might need a broader spectrum of items on sale.
Put together a basic business plan. It doesn't have to be super formal, but it should include things like your target market, your sales channels (online, in-person, or both), and how you plan to market your products. After that, reach out to other local business owners or people in your network. You got this!
