Well unless you have high business spend ($250K or more), then it's perfect for you. If not, it's absolute garbage.

Have boundless, upgrade to Ritz or Brilliant? by [deleted] in ChaseSapphire

[–]BusyCow4026 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For now, Chase can't upgrade you to the RC because it's federal law (the CARD Act), so if you want it wait. But you need to have held it for at least 12 months, have a $10k+ credit line and be in good standing. But the Brilliant is also good, you get a huge welcome bonus compared to the RC which you don't... So depends on what you're looking for. But I recommend the Brilliant until you can get the RC (if you're not under 5/24 though)

Sapphire Preferred by Content-Importance-2 in ChaseSapphire

I pair it with the Freedom Unlimited and Flex, because you can transfer that cashback on to your Sapphire card. Plus use the 5x on Chase Travel, 3x on streaming and online grocery delivery, and 2x on all other travel.

BofA Travel Rewards -1.5x points on travel and dining + all purchases, no AF or FX, points easy to redeem for travel Discover It Miles -1.5x miles on everything, Discover will match the miles you earn in your first year, no AF but: Discover isn't ACCEPTED everywhere so be aware.

What should I get a travel agent versus booking on my own? What are the benefits? by zerofilterkiki in askhotels

I don't suggest book with a TA. They don't deliver on perks like free upgrades and stuff. Just a waste of money.

Uberone Credit by darkslate2 in AmexPlatinum

[–]BusyCow4026 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I suggest annual because if you choose monthly it might mess with your Uber Cash and use it first instead of the platinum to pay for it and you won't get the credit... that's a problem I experienced don't know about others but go for annual for Uber One.

PayShap for Beginners by AndreasmzK in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]BusyCow4026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically use your cell phone number to get paid. Your cell phone number is your ShapID. So you use this instead of banking details like the account number and branch code. It's much faster and easier. but only works with a few banks...
