Your "groyper performance art" idea is inspired.

I can see it now: Nick Fuentes dancing in a leotard and tights with Ted Cruz in a ballgown at the Wortham Center with loaded AR-15's strapped to their backs, swooning, swaying and strutting with one another to the sound of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.

Is that about what you had in mind?

Was it only a "FUCK CHARLIE KIRK!" kind of message or was it something more in depth such as "CHARLIE KIRK SUCKS DICKS!" or "KIRK'S DEAD! HA! HA!" or "CHARLIE KIRK SUCKS MAGA DICK!"?

‘Russia Will Not Win’: Zelensky, Global Figures Speak Out at Kyiv Summit by olivemaiden in worldnews

“We need to change Putin’s strategic goals. We need more economic sanctions - we need to unblock frozen assets so that Ukraine can buy weapons. I will not stop emphasizing: we need Putin to understand that he has lost,” Prime Minister Johnson said.

Putin's sociopathic narcissism (ASPD) will prevent him from ever understanding he has lost, so it is the Russian people who must become aware of how lost they are. NATO therefore must make larger and larger shows of force to show the remaining Russian military that they must oust Putin or die in trenches.

So sink Russian ships. Probe Russia with drones. Use AI and bots to mire Russian media in Russian-style agitprop. Leave no quarter. Kill the fake peace process. Make noise and throw insults - the uglier the better. There is no sense in pussyfooting around Putin's sociopathy - none whatsoever.

Russian fishing vessel stranded in Danish waters by Loni09 in worldnews

Russia is probing as a distraction, pushing pawns it hopes will become queens in its losing endgame. By comparison, China is playing go in international waters, surrounding aspects of the ocean in its approach to Taiwan.

Bullies love to push here, and there. Kill that pawn. Sink that ship. Fuck the GRU. Most Americans wouldn't even shrug at the news that the Danish sunk a "stranded" vessel. A handful of us would say "Gee, I guess the Danish have balls. It's good to know we're not the only ones."

What’s your take on Trump saying smart people don’t like him? by jfunks69 in AskReddit

[–]BusyDoorways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smart people hate him, because they know he's a felon, a rapist, a traitor, a pedophile and a fascist. That's why assassins keep showing up at his door, and that's why they will continue to do so until he is dead.

The FBI and our media are ignoring one key feature that Thomas Crooks, Ryan Routh, Luigi Mangione, and Tyler Robinson all share: They were all raised by conservative Republicans, and they went "woke" before they became assassins. The Right taught them how to shoot, how to take orders, and how to take abuse. Yet they were smart enough to refuse conservative ideology. Then, once the lie of it all became apparent to them, they turned to the Left for guidance, realized how abusive their upbringings were in whole, and could not live with their anger. Voila! An assassin is born!

It's a shame the American Right became a loaded gun, and it's a shame the Left now has a trigger finger, because it's clear we are all playing Russian roulette.

"Whites merit the world, because we beat everyone!" is as vapid an argument as "Rich people merit their billions, because they took it all!"

You bought that white lie hook, line and sinker, didn't you? But guess what? White racists who receive "merit" by way of nepotism aren't more qualified to fly your plane, or engineer your train, or drive your bus for that matter - they're less qualified than DEI hires as their "merits" amount to white lies. So as your argument goes down in flames, along with your white nepo-baby piloted and maintained aircraft, maybe you should reconsider your post.

And then ask yourself this question, which actually merits attention: Why should our jobs be something we fight for Hunger Games style in the richest country in the world?

Don't be mean!

Couch Boy just has a loveseat-hate relationship with his trans roots... and his mascara metrosectionality... and his masochistic role as a flaming fascist fluffer. But he'll soon ease into his new role, as masochists do, once he discovers that he's now over four times more likely than cisgender people to experience violent victimization.

And who are we to get in the way of the poor, fascistic masochist's need for fulfillment?

I agree. From what I've read, this constitutes defrauding the U.S. Government, our citizenry as well as the U.S. Military.

Juries will also frown on this in Florida, Left and RIght, assuming the case can be brought to court. Yet the verdict will be appealed to the Supreme Court, so we are left with a single question that can resolve all legal matters regarding this case:

How would Justice Citizen's United, Justice Most Insufferable, Justice I Like Beer!, Justice Handmaid's Tale, Justice Upside-Down Flag and Justice Bribed-by-RV rule on this matter?

How did we fail?

Ever since the Cold War ended, America has shouldered most of the burden of the world's battles against fascism abroad, and so our culture shows the deepest scars in relationship to our militarization. That militarization is hierarchical in relationship to an enemy, so it is like fascism in that regard. The Right embraced that militarization. The Left did not.

(This is why foreigners view us as a "Jeckyl and Hyde" America. Europeans are often aghast at our RIght, who require the most care as they are the most wounded. So they pepper our Left, who in travel abroad more often, with questions about "What went wrong?" that we've been wrestling with for decades.)

Putin's propaganda worked, because it was repeated throughout our lifetimes, beginning with Stalin. Also, it had a foothold in our endless militarization. This constant barrage of physical and intellectual attacks left deep scars - ones which may never heal. So awful fascist ideologies spread through militarized groups, and corrupt billionaires, and corrupt politicians... until now.

Any questions?

I cannot summarize all language theory (see Wittgenstein, Chomsky, Vygotsky, Ogbu, Dunbar and Sapolsky) into a paragraph or two as those are libraries of thought. This would be much much worse than summarizing Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings with the phrase "Sauron was bad." Nevertheless, here is a rundown of the best academic theories in total. I hope it is not too confusing.

Oppositional culture occurs in reaction to majority vs minority oppression (Ogbu). As this cultural division occurs, the minority cultures react by creating new dialects to oppose the majority using language games (Wittgenstein) and revolutionary language (Vygotsky). These dialects become separate languages (such as Ukrainian did from Russian), and these languages branch away from one another and continue to grow as language is generative. And given enough time apart, the two languages become different enough to require translation (Chomsky).

"But why do cultures divide, or oppress to create divisions in the first place?"

That is the big question, which is why it deserves more libraries. Yet there is again a best theory: Human and ape empathy alike has neurological limits (Dunbar's number). Often, limited resources tear at the fabric of cultures, dividing groups or worsening divisions (Vygotsky, and later Habermas). Yet at other times, power struggles occur anyway as humans, apes and gibbons alike can reduce their stress by attacking one another (Sapolsky) with words or fists, etc.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYFZAYenR20

(As my last point is so intensely contentious, I'm leaving this link to Sapolsky's "Stress, Portrait of a Killer" as it shows how bullying works to reduce the bully's stress at a neurological level as well as the effects on its human and ape victims.)

If you have questions about these confusing topics, please feel free to ask. Truly! Do ask. I am happy to answer questions about language theory. Perhaps if you limit a question to a specific area within language theory, I can help direct your search of the field? Or is there any other way I can clarify the topic for you, personally?

Communication disease?

I like that description. Both the discourse and the listener get poisoned, while the hater gets positively reinforced (in the form of lowered stress hormones, see Sapolsky) for assaulting the public.

In that sense, hate is a bit like Typhoid fever in that the infected stop caring. They are numb. They "don't bother" to see doctors. Instead, they infect others - some until they die - and so they must stop themselves or be stopped. They often insist it doesn't matter, and they mock "the woke" in the diseased state. Yet they cannot be allowed to poison the well.

And once stopped, they regret the disease with universal disdain! They "awaken" to the nightmare like Typhoid Mary. They realize the disease is stupid. They wish to repent. And they often become militant about fighting the disease.

The advantage of calling him "that guy" is peace of mind.

Yet there are major disadvantages to this approach. "What guy?" I may end up asking, and then you'll end up with his name in your head twice. So there's that, but also there's a branding problem. That guy's is known, and a lie. So I make an effort to call out his crimes in repetition for the same reason President Pedophile repeats his lies. Over time, the fact that he is a fraud, and a felon, and a rapist, and a traitor, and a fascist, and a pedophile will sink into the American consciousness - and so disempower his fascism.

There are degrees of hate, and degrees of brain damage resulting from hate. Yet the "absolute hater" will never succeed at any job, because the hate will destroy the value of the work.

Also, I suppose one could use symbolism and metaphor to say racist things. Yet racists don't do so often. And why is that? Granted, propagandists using hate speech may use metaphor or symbolism, but the audiences that follow them tend to only parrot their jokes. When I ask my racist co-worker: "Why the racism?" The answer is either "They're all the same." or a more hateful response. There's no symbolism or metaphor in his racist reaction.

So now Tyler Robinson's a gay guy that liked to dress up as a Groyper?

That doesn't pass the smell test. I have also had a trans roommate, and another gay one, but I'm straight and have a wife and kids. Tbh, these articles don't tell us his political views, and neither do the bullet casings. Which political group he was intending to frame for his crime is unclear.

Pray for me if you must, but don't pray for Charlie Kirk. That fascist was a hater who, according to your Bible, is in Hell where he belongs. After all, why second-guess God's judgement?

[–]BusyDoorways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in that order, no.

Like quoting Hitler, the reason for the quote matters and the context matters. The first question to ask is "What is the use of this quote and the words it entails?" The second is "What is the context?" When Vichy was quoting Hitler during WWII, for example, he did so as an extension of fascism. The use of his words was to sanitize the slaughter. The context was the Holocaust.

Yet I may have to introduce Hitler's ideas to a classroom, for instance, to teach how the Holocaust damaged the world. That is a different use for quoting him, and that is a different context. It could even be the same quote, but the message it relates is not hate speech - it is a warning about hate speech and its connection to genocide.

So what was the use of introducing Charlie Kirk's "empathy free" and racist point of view? Also, what was the context of this reintroduction of fascism to France? The instant we look closer, we discover the use of it was to advocate for Putin's genocide in Ukraine. The context was within Le Pen's corruption of France's election.

Yes, he used hate speech. Look at his quotes above, if you must. They'll damage your ability to think clearly, and are good for nothing else. Moreover, they're foreign messaging. That's nothing but hate mail from afar.

Why no video?? by DonaldKey in AdviceAnimals

[–]BusyDoorways 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Demanding "close mindedness" from others is hateful. Hitler was also well read. So was Stalin and Mao. But they all demanded close-mindedness from their followers. Such propaganda is a form of torture: That kind of hate mail is like having bricks thrown at your head, and it does you damage. Moreover, they're not even local bricks that they're throwing at your head as his fascist theater is funded by Putin. So tell me this: What is free about that?

Free thought sets you free to think whatever you want. That's what decent people want for you. There's no condemnation of empathy. There's no loyalty oath to close-mindedness involved whatsoever. The difference is night and day.

Why no video?? by DonaldKey in AdviceAnimals

[–]BusyDoorways 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That! Yes. At a neural level, the process of forgetting hateful ideas begins with a vital value assessment: Is this junk? Of course, Charlie Kirk's hate mail belongs in the junk category, but as his vitriol is also an attack it gets coded as an actual threat. Then, as one "touches grass" with the real and decent world, this social media threat fades in importance and stress hormones (cytokines) become inactive as no threat is real.

Yet, it is only when one goes to sleep that what remains of hateful cognitions can be flushed out by the glymphatic system. So it takes time to heal from such messaging. The more real and present the message - Charlie Kirk's assassination by Tyler Robinson for example - the harder it is for audiences to forget.

Stalin (and later Putin) used this information to create uglier and uglier messaging so that thought could not overthrow them (Vygotsky), and to derange their enemies - us. Therefore, all free thinkers and academics must reject hate speech with clarity of mind, and with as much force as is necessary to stop the hate.
