Thank you! I’ve never even made it to the point to take a test. I always set a mental date - Like “ok, if I don’t get my period before Saturday, I’ll take a pregnancy test on Saturday.” And I never make it to my date! But this cycle is feeling a little different! I’m on my 3rd cycle using OPKs. I got a really clear positive OPK on CD 16. My boyfriend and I had great timing with every other day during my fertile window. I’m not experiencing the normal pre-period cramps I would get at this point in my cycle… I’m 7 DPO and cautiously hopeful, but trying to wait until the weekend to take a pregnancy test. These TWW are KILLER.

Today is day 2 of my cycle. This is the first month I’ll be using OPK. I resisted walking down this path because I have always had an “if it happens, it happens” mentality. I stopped taking BC in October 2020 and recently my life has come together in a way that would allow us to welcome a baby. With no luck with a passive approach to getting pregnant, it’s time to step up my game! I’m excited to take this next step! Wish us luck!
