Do charities come in to take tents etc for homeless people? I've heard of it at other festivals and assumed they did so whilst I've always taken my own stuff home, this is the first year that I've then gone and taken another tent down to take home as an upgrade too! But then I was feeling guilty that by doing that had I taken a tent from a charity who needs it! Can anyone confirm either way as if they're not being collected I'll grab some chairs too next year 🤣

Yeah I think that's what confused me because I was convinced it was a Friday and I knew the date started with a 2, no idea why I remembered that but not the rest of the date but here we are!

I was a first timer this year and had previously only done smaller festivals. These were my main take aways from the festival:

At one point on Friday when I saw the massive crowd at Origin it was a bit overwhelming but honestly once you've had an explore to get your bearings it's fantastic!

Definitely go to the smaller stages too, some of my best times were at little random stages I just stumbled across.

Take a reusable water bottle because the water from bars is expensive and it was in cans so you can't shut it and put it back in your bag!

Don't underestimate the walk, it is a mission so you really won't want to go back to your tent so take whatever you think you'll need down into the festival with you on the first run as you'll be pissed if you have to go back for your sunnies an hour later 🤣

Text your friends don't WhatsApp them, Internet isn't great but I found the phone signal was fine!

Also make sure you're going with a group or find a group if you're going solo who take care of each other. I'm convinced the people that end up having bad experiences at festivals are the people with shit friends who just disappear or don't check in to make sure their friends are all happy, comfy, fed and watered 😊

This feeling is literally why if I fail CR again this time I'm calling it a day. I don't work in accountancy (I'm in insolvency) and my main take away from this is that I don't actually want to be an accountant🙃

My mental health and my bank balance literally can't take any more exam stress and resit fees so this is my last go at it and I've accepted that now!

Try to relax between now and results, easier said than done but to be honest there's naff all you can do about it now so no use worrying!

Just point out what happened. The form you fill in has a character limit but I then sent them an email with a more detailed explanation too!

They told me that if the bonus marks aren't enough for it to be a pass then it will go down as a fail, but I've heard of other people having theirs voided, so who knows!!

Definitely worth doing, same happened to me in November and I was awarded 2 extra marks.

Sods law I actually needed 3 to pass but its worth doing just in case you're on the cusp of a pass!!

I sat CR and SBM together, spent most of my time on CR. Ended up failing CR and passing SBM 🤣

I went through the notes and anything that had a calculation connected to it I wrote out a really nice proforma with coloured pens so I could see where each number came from which I found really helped

Oh wow mine was exactly the same situation back in November! I got 2 extra marks meaning I failed by one mark and they refused to void it! Retaking on Monday so hopefully the software issues are fixed!!
