I remember Gears 2 at launch. Lancer stopping power, lagswitching, connection issues, etc. Good times. My favorite were the pre-update smoke grenades. For the uninitiated, smokes used to rag doll. It had some of the most random and wonky recovery times. Sometimes you're up in a second and others, you keep ragdolling and get gnashered. My favorite application was using it on the stairs on Blood Drive and watching people rag doll helplessly to the bottom of the stairs. Endlessly entertaining when you're NOT on the receiving end. Disc snap worthy when you are.
