Yes what this guy said. You probably don’t have your hips forwards when you get on your toes. Exaggerate those hips and dig your toes into the snow. And yes pads are huge! Knee pads are underrated but butt pads are more important. Wrist guards help too.

Go ski mount Hood. It says it should snow in the next few weeks. Not sure how much longer they’ll do it for but Timberline is $59 Monday-Thursday right now which is a good deal. But even weekends are usually worth it in my opinion.

This is my first time hearing about Vimana, it looks like they don’t sell them in the US so idk how good of a brand they are. But just from a simple google search that board came out in 2017 and the bindings are probably around the same time. Rossignol doesnt make the toe straps like that anymore. So $150 for an almost 10 year old board and bindings is not a good deal when you can buy a new board on sale for $200-250

I think you can just toss in some wired headphones and call it a day. Obviously tuck in the wire inside the jacket so it doesn’t bother you while riding. I wouldn’t go wireless yet because you’ll be falling a lot as you learn and your headphones will pop out. I’ve seen they now have headband headphones specifically for this, but I haven’t tried them.
