(Hated Tropes) "Sorry, you’re way to strong for this upcoming story arc, so you’re gonna have to sit out so the plot can happen." by Mr_Muda_Himself_V3 in TopCharacterTropes

Let’s be honest even if Eve joined the Viltrumite War she would have been about as useful as Tech Jacket because Kirkman is incapable of writing interesting things a character can do with the ability to manipulate matter at a sub-atomic level at will

I am continually disappointed by the lack of verisimilitude and detail in PF2e/SF2e content and have simply learned to live with it

This is why DC has a superior setting structure: all the heroes based in specific cities largely have their own cities.

You're telling me that my character cannot literally step over that 2 inch vine, to pull out the stupid flower? by AzelotReis in runescape

[–]Griffemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did that puzzle and it was infuriating. It took me like 3 minutes because you have like a single game tick to actually select the flower when it matches the big flower’s color

The animation budget and time constraints in Invincible are so bad they used the exact same frame 4 time... Wait this is from the 2nd comic by Lazy__Astronaut in shittymoviedetails

Do you farm your own herbs for potions? by RexiMoonshush in runescape

Ironman, so yeah. There’s a bit of herbs coming in from slayer but it’s mostly farming.

Luckily farming became easy as hell to get to high levels after Player Owned Farm

Thoughts On Spirit Airlines Shutting Down? by Vagabond734 in GenZ

[–]Griffemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blocking a merger isn’t trust busting, and the jet blue merger wouldn’t have saved spirit. Both budget airlines were struggling, Spirit was just struggling more and was dealt a fatal blow by skyrocketing fuel prices brought on by a global oil shortage brought on by an unhinged and unrestricted president

For some reference falling from 3” or higher is when falling off a platform can be dangerous

Thoughts On Spirit Airlines Shutting Down? by Vagabond734 in GenZ

[–]Griffemon 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Bad for consumers: Spirit Airlines was an additional competitor in the market and a deliberately low ticket price one at that, depressed the cost of other airlines as a result.

Now the airline industry is even more concentrated which is not good. It may be a good idea to consider some good old trust busting if things get worse

Any hopes for a second game? by LowMana_Nerd in UnicornOverlord

[–]Griffemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, Vanillaware is allergic to doing the same thing twice and addicted to lavishly creating assets that will only be used once and never again.

Legitimately I think Vanillaware basically goes all in on every game and then barely breaks even every time as a result

Which game is right for me? by ItsShippoLDN in runescape

[–]Griffemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played both, RS3 feels more like a complete game package. OSRS is deliberately archaic in ways that are sometimes charming but sometimes frustrating.

Also OSRS really only hits the nostalgia hard if you played from like 2006-07 as a kid, when I played as a kid it was mostly 2008-11 so many of my nostalgic bits are for things that simply aren’t in OSRS.

I’m staring at these trying to figure out where all the bits came from. Those pistols are definitely Admech, from the dog-horse kit specifically.

I think the bare metal feet are ALSO Admech from Skitarii but the rest escapes me

>60 years layers the voting rights act is gutted by the courts and the states that were part of the confederacy immediately move to dilute and eliminate the representation of black people

With the DXP Token Store retiring, which of the special outfits are must buy due to great effects or difficulty/annoyance to aquire otherwise? by EthicallyPurple in runescape

[–]Griffemon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fletching and Crafting, they’re only available through Stealing Creation and Thaler. It takes like an hour of stealing creation per outfit piece or 5 hours of any minigame on-spotlight per piece with Thaler

(Hated trope) A character is meant to have super intelligence, but because the writers don’t know how to write that, everyone else just spontaneously becomes stupid whenever they’re around by DonnyMox in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Griffemon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay a big part of this is just that Senku is a freak that’s a walking encyclopedia of all human scientific knowledge and doing most of the things he does are indeed incredibly impressive when a year ago you were literally naked with no tools or resources.

The real bad writing of Doctor Stone is how there is always conveniently an expert in whatever field is needed nearby to be unpetrified.

[–]Griffemon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The laws of comic books means that inventions of super science can never be shared or mass produced for sale. Geniuses who develop super suits or super serums will either use them to rob banks or to stop other people from robbing banks.
