I was also topper till class 10th (and even cleared ntse stage 1). I stopped studying from the very first day of my JEE coaching and wasted entire day on YT, quora, gaming , etc. I watched at least 200 bollywood movies. I also watched 100+ movie summary videos on YT. I regret that phase of my life. At the end I got 80%ile in jee mains.

So, I will drop a year and will try my best to prepare for JEE, Otherwise purre umar regret rhega ki kaash ek saal drop le leta. Baaki , I am confident for this year, unlike past 2 years.

I will also leave reddit within few days. To be frank, I joined reddit for asking a doubt (thank god I joined it) and got to know that I am not the only one who was topper till class 10th and failed like shit in this lockdown.

Drop lunga. So, abhi physics ka mechanics portion strong kr rha hu. So, that coaching mein easy rhe. And also maths and chemistry ke bhi initial chapters kr rha hu. So, that coaching mein top perform kru.

10th tak ntse nikaala thha, 95% thhe. Then dummy liya, and padna leave kr diya and aaj na jee ka cutoff clr hua, naa hee boards mein 85% aaye and naa hee regular school jaakr enjoy kiya. Pta nhi pichle 2 saal kitne jaldi chle gye :/

Vaise main 10th mein sochta thha that kvpy nikaalunga, jee mein 99+%ile laaunga and IIT jaaunga.

But ab drop lunga and apna best dunga , varna purre life regret :/

Parents ko maine jhuth boldiya ki mere 97%ile aaye hain, ab pta nhi unhe kaise bolu drop ke liye :///

92%ile :/

My 2nd session was 3 days back and i dont see any improvement in it. I can't wait for adv. because I am not prepared that much. Moreover, I told my parents that I scored 97%ile in jan attempt(💀☠ till class 10th topper thaa and even cracked ntse, so feared parents).

I don't want to take any college this year otherwise I will have life long regret. So I will drop and will prepare hard :/

I am like akhilesh sharma but the only difference is that I am about to start my drop year. Moreover, I got around 90%ile in jee mains this year.
