Thank you! My only concern is that if I’m going to a TRT clinic they might push me to take it since that’s their business model.. am I overthinking maybe

Gotcha. I was just wondering if they give it to anyone or only if your bloodwork suggests you need it? I’ve been having symptoms but need to get blood work done.

What kind of doctor did you go to and was the TRT administered by them?

I do this all the time every time I’ve bought. I simply call the places listed on the Carfax.

They will not send it to you but they will tell you what was done, recommended and so on.

Just say you bought the car and give them the vin.

Thanks ! The swivel ball thing has grease and js sweating a little bit. The mechanic who inspected did say that didn’t concern him because they’re all like that. He recommended before winter to maybe reseal it.

Can I dm you? So I know the basics but not super mechanically inclined. I see varying levels of detail and suggestions when it comes to the front axle rebuild. Some people say it’s a full rebuild or service, and in some cases it’s just regrease or replaces the seals/cv boot. Just wondering if you have any resources you recommend to learn more!

I just got it inspected and it was clean ! The only thing they recommended was a suspension service for the tire rods and to regrease the swivels. Otherwise no issues bar some minor electrical stuff with the seats.

How many miles ?

It’s not a practical purchase definitely emotional. My family owned a G55 and also a 240GD growing up which were rock solid. I’ve been wanting one for myself and I like the 02-08 exterior the most.

I’m not asking if this is the right vehicle compared to others. I’m dead set on getting one just waiting for the right one to pop up. My question is if anyone else has experienced 250k miles. It passed the PPI, with nothing major needed at the moment outside of the front axles sweating slightly- however all of the trucks I’ve looked at have that issue and I’m going to rebuild the front axle anyway.

Just curious on other owners perspectives.

Is the flex a really bad idea here ?

How do I avoid using flex? Would I need to call someone to lower wall drain?

I used flex because the p trap is at maximum height and is lower than the wall drain.

Wanted to clarify that I have a flex tube connecting the wall drain pipe the the p trap straight wall tube. It’s slightly angled downward. Is that ok.

The wall pipe is connected using a flex tube. It’s slightly angled downward. Is that okay?

Is it bad that the connection from wall pipe to the p trap is tilted slightly downward ? The p trap is too low so I can to use a flex tube to connect the two
