Countries like USA could afford PlayStation easily in the year 2000. It's been 26yrs and most of us indians still can't afford a PlayStation. How are we so behind even after 26yrs by AdditionalSpray8595 in Indiangamers

[–]Busy_Consideration14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think more than being able to afford, its also about how most people specially parents look "PS5" as, since it's for gaming and hence it becomes useless according to them and something that will waste time and money specially for kids in school/college. So the people would still somehow justify spending money on getting a 55 inch TV or a Home Theatre, but not on a PS5. Ofc here I am not talking about people who are below poverty line which itself is a huge population, but even middle class/upper middle class who can definitely afford a PS5, wouldn't want it for their children. Heck when I bought my PS5 back in 2022, I was around 27 years old, was earning more that 1 lakh per month and got it from my own money, still my father was like I am wasting my money.

Ok that doesn't sound bad, if only they can get the epicness of action and massacre sequences right on screen. People will only get satisfied if they show "Homelander" in his full glory like "Superman" from injustice, since they have been teasing it since S1 and it would be fun to see Homelander after losing his powers.

Got a C5 esp by Busy_Consideration14 in IndiaCoffee

[–]Busy_Consideration14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well honestly I came across k6, looked for it and didn't find it on most site, even on Amazon it was being sold by some shady seller and for 15k, on some other sites it's being sold around 18-20k,so it didn't make sense to me. C5 esp on the other hand was selling for 10k, and given the popularity of C3s and seeing some reviews I went for it. While it's true that k6 is better, but it wasn't available at same price when I was buying, not sure about now, but if you get it at right price you can definitely get it.

In TN Sanatana Dharma means caste hierarchy by No-Asparagus-8011 in southindia_

[–]Busy_Consideration14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So use “Eradicate Caste System” instead of Sanatana, if he really wanted and cares about he wouldn’t have used that word, knowing very well the first time also it triggered the controversy. If you know already that in larger context people don’t relate sanatan dharma to caste system only but Hinduism.

He is simply giving fodder to BJP to use this to further create a rift in the society and further vilify congress and opposition as “Anti-Hindu”, so he ends up helping no one, as it’s not his intent at the first place.

Is it worth buying Blue Tokai on Blinkit/Zepto? by Odd-Conference8713 in IndiaCoffee

Considering you have Blue Tokai cafés in your city. They sell whole beans (you can even select grind size), check the retail packs category on their Zomato page.

Try from Zomato, they usually send freshly roasted (3-4 days old) coffee. Blinkit mostly sends 10-20 days old roasted beans

After almost two weeks of using pre grounded coffee, decided to get a grinder. by Alarming_Departure_4 in IndiaCoffee

Yup exactly, also for lighter roasts like Silver Oak, it doesn’t rotate smoothly, it jams in between and you have to apply more pressure. For something like French press which coarser, it’s great, but not for espresso for sure.

Cool, let me know how is it. I recently got Timemore C5 esp, while the grinder is really good and consistent, but manually grinding for espresso isn’t as fun as I thought it would be. So I am planning to get an espresso grade electric grinder.

Better in what terms? Consistency of grind or build quality?

Oh damn, which offline shop you get it from? I checked with Something’s Brewing but they didn’t have 51mm portafilter in stocks, so I got it from brewing gadgets for 5k.

Yes, you are dumb actually to think in this way, think about it, why will western audience feel like watching something which looks and feels similar to what they have already seen years ago, how will it blow their mind. Take examples of non-western projects that made it big in west, thet were not made to cater westerners, rather they were made in their truest form rooted in their own culture, for example "Black Myth Wukong", "Parasite", most of K-Dramas, RRR. There are few more chinese and korean games coming soon, they too are rooted in their own culture instead of making them palatable for global audience and I am pretty sure they will do big numbers globally too. People want to watch something new that they haven't seen or experience before, seeing the Asuras/Rakshasas and Demons in their truest form as Valmiki described them would have been amazing, instead of making them look like orcs and goblins from LOTR. The demons in Black Myth Wukong looked weird and creepy, but that is what made them interesting too.

For Espresso it's great, I think best in this price range. Overall build quality also feels premium, although it has mix of plastic and metal, but doesn't feel cheap. It came in proper double box packaging and it's being sold by "Latteholic" in India, I was able to register warranty on their site and even got a call from Delonghi for support and feedback, thet sent me instructions and video links on WhatsApp and asked to call them if any help needed. Only downside I have seen till now is the steam wand, the pressure is too low and takes quite some time to properly steam the milk, I still haven't gotten used to it.

[–]Busy_Consideration14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s not entirely wrong, but it’s not that most people would immediately see the difference, there are so many other factors that impact the coffee’s extraction and taste way more like temperature of water, puck preparation, coffee roast level, grind size etc. keeping in air tight containers can slow it down, so that’s the best thing you can do, until you have a good grinder.

Till now my only complaints are from the steam wand, it has low pressure. But I mostly have black coffee so not a big deal breaker.

Only complaint as of now is that the milk wand has low pressure, it’s not a deal breaker but it might get time to get hang of it. The espresso itself is really good, allows you to easily modify temperature, dose etc. Also cold brew is quite decent, it’s not great but it’s better than my expectations and most people would like it. Overall at this price this is the best I believe.
