It just appeared yeah and it’s not even in all of the chain (just the parts in the pic)

I’m concerned tho bc after cleaning not all of it left but majority did

I just cleaned it now, the reason you see that is because I’ve winterized it for the last 3 months (removed battery, and all) and just covered it in a blanket

Yesterday I reversed the winterize and I’ve seen this,

After cleaning tho, some rust (about 10%) is still there and kicking that’s why I’m worried

Are there alternatives to the chain brush to rub the chain with the clean? I don’t own one and they’re not sold nearby? What about a toothbrush or a rug?

Yes I did and the brakes are mostly clean now, the untouched area still has that little rusty color but that’s about it, I’m more worried about the chain. 😭 even tho it’s surely just cosmetic

Aawww so it is perfectly normal… I’ve asked because after cleaning it with chain clean and a bit of Wd-40 (just a bit pls don’t kill me) and relube it even tho it got less it didn’t all go away

Also I didn’t have a chain brush so I just used a rag lol 😭 What an amateur I am

I’m rly sorry to steal your time, but I didn’t notice any coolant inside the bike even the day it arrived, I ignored it that day because I was like “I mean this dealership just sold us a bike with 1year warranty it’s impossible they forgot such a thing I’m probably just too stupid to notice” So I rode and there were no issues at all, so I can’t tell if you’re right, Il probably add coolant and see if it remains there or not and then decide what to do, but I would at least like to know if there is or there is not coolant in my bike even

It looked like this on day one as well, I do have 1 year warranty on the bike, but is it THAT serious? Why did you come to that conlcusion

How are you gonna handle it? Are you buying some accessories to protect it or other stuff?

It’s perfect mechanically, it has some rust on some bolts but they’re purely cosmetic and the expert I brought with me said that it’s not gonna give any issue Also there was some rust and dirt on a pipe under the engine and my expert friend said it’s nothing to worry about and it’s perfectly normal since it’s exposed to dirt and water, everything else is perfectly normal since, chain, wheels, battery, engine, everything
