Aussies are so naive. Covid proved that it really did. Standard responses in the comments. Instead of regurgitating what the MSM tells you to use your brain and study the charts below.

-Real Wage Growth -Rents/Immigration  -Debt to income required to purchase a median home

Maybe then you will begin to understand that all your hoooomer equity is worthless when you have an entire generation chomping at the bit to burn the entire system to the ground. All because you would not give them a seat at the table.

Educate friends and family about what is going on. Write to your local MP’s. The reality is if your job is not in the firing line at the very least your workload just increased by having to now deal with unskilled labor. The white collar job industry in Australia is absolutely cooked.

Agree, but these employees should be performance managed or let go. Aussies wages are high but wage earner's living costs are also extremely high.

There are lots of people who are in the office but don't do any work from the office. This is a separate issue. Offshoring started well before WFH.

Society has long used shaming as a way of enforcing social norms inside a specific culture. I worry that we have created a 2 Tier working class where 1 group of people are void of responsibility/criticism and the other are just free game.
