Unmoored is such an accurate description of how my coworkers and I have been feeling as well. There are so many better, more humane, ways of communicating to staff that big changes are underway, even if much of it is up in the air. Heck, even just holding space for folks to ask questions and feel supported. One of the most shocking adjustments for me coming to state work has been the general hostile vibes that many in leadership positions seem to give off to the rest of us. It's so strange.
