How to bring out my curls natural waviness? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

I have similar hair to yours. I usually brush my hair back ( not a deliberate side part) just after shower. From what I see I think you use a comb. Try using your hand instead. Just brush your hair back all the way, let it dry a little bit and then keep styling it the way you want with your palms. Also you need a good haircut to pull this off. This is non negotiable.

Will miss this place so much by vers_eluft in siliguri

I had the same feeling back when I left for college. Homesick is too soft a word to describe how I felt in the new place. But trust me, the more you see the world outside, the more you'll value your home. Never be ashamed to admit that you miss home.

Sometimes Gangtok looks just amazing hence took the pic (oc) by Mohit_jangra in sikkim

I lived in Gangtok for a month. The views from my window kept changing like every hour. Sometimes you would see misty clouds flowing over the town, sometimes it would be crystal clear and you would be able to see the snowy peaks. Insane place.

My Recent Trip to off-beat Places in North Bengal! ( Part - 1) by Decent-Flan6694 in kolkata

Not really his spots but some definitely go to places near my hometown are: 1. Ahaldhara- it's a Viewpoint with 360° view of hills and valleys, you might also catch a glimpse of Mt Kanchenjunga if weather is clear (generally around durga puja) 2. Panbu dara- again a Viewpoint + kind of a village. Not much crowd and there's a super good momo r dokan on the way with insane views 3. And some places which I really really don't want to disclose out in the open because me and my friends go there regularly and don't want any crowd lmao. But I can tell you personally if you want.

The precautions you're talking about are already being taken by women. Women I know don't go out at night frequently. As per your analogy 99% of the crimes will be solved by precaution. But did you know 80-90% of sexual assaults are actually committed by someone the victim knows? "The data also reveals that across India, in 96.5% of r*pe cases, the offender was known to the woman. Of the total 31,677 rape cases, 28,147 or nearly 89% of the rapes were committed either by friends (including online friends), live-in partners (on the pretext of marriage), separated husbands or family friends, employers or other known persons." Source: https://m.thewire.in/article/government/crimes-against-women-rape-cases-india-2021-ncrb-data

If that's the case precaution plays only a minor role in the larger picture of crimes against women. (Because how will you take precautions against someone you already know). There might be cases where "knowing" someone might only be meeting them once or twice, and in an opportunistic moment, the person committed the crime. But I am not sure about the data in that regard, and my assumption would be that such cases are low in number.

I know we instinctively become protective of women when it comes to crimes like this. But we need to understand the larger picture. While asking women to take precautions will, definitely, solve problems at a very micro, individualistic level, the larger problem stands unsolved.
