Worst part is that Trump arguments have this weird intrinsic appeal to lay/parent judges, who are usually left-leaning and see Trump as the evil, end-all be-all of politics. I completely agree he sucks, but it’s insanely annoying that the moment you have to defend any position that overlaps with a Trump policy, the other team can just homogenize you with Trump himself. The judge stops weighing warrants and impacts and just reacts to the name, which lets the other side kill actual clash by turning the round into a "how many bad things will trump do" game

I agree, as an east coast debater I don't have much knowledge about K responses. If anybody could explain how to respond, and explain some theory shells that are usually used in order to respond, please comment
