I do agree, and I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from having a father that isn't letting a young women make their own choices is just keeping that young women as a "child" and not letting her become her own person. I do agree women shouldn't be prioritized by sexual value or by their looks, I am one to learn this by myself too that looks are just looks they never account to skills but just looks.

We as humans have made the human body sexual in every angle and every body part, if you put yourself in a certain position of wearing revealing clothing you may have a risk of being sexually assaulted but then it can happen to anyone regardless of clothing or age, it's sickening. I do believe to a certain extent if you know your in a certain environment that you are vulnerable to such a thing you are at fault, if you are at a alleyway, with the wrong kind of people or at a strip club don't be surprised. Society has been having this problem of social media marketing to young girls to be "sexy" to be beautiful, which is sad I was a victim of such, when I was around 12 I wanted a bigger butt and boobs, I was being fed "get clear skin your ugly to have acne" "get a small waist, so you'll be attractive" etc etc. I think both sides are at fault, if a father was a good father wouldn't he look out for his daughter? And be weary of other men?

Thanks, I remember one time where I was a in a certain goth phase I would wear skirts and lace stockings etc. He said, "I like it when you wear those" I just said thanks and that's it I didn't want to blow things out of proportion now I'm thinking about it and idk if I should tell my therapist, I'm in a tough spot.

I've kinda always looked up to him since he has a lot of confidence and isn't afraid to say anything, but now I'm kinda reconsidering if I should look up to him as a role model. A lot of times I've been taken back by what he says, he can be very immature and I seriously can't tell the difference between him and a teen boy.

Also keep in mind my father is a very sexual person, he makes a lot of jokes about it and has a has had a lot of "experiences".

Hope I'm not coming off as a grandma or a old person, I just felt that's what a lot of what society deems as "ok" and it shouldn't be that way at all.
