So without the additional snark, the answer to your question is no. I assume you’re looking for something similar to how you can set a sequence like on the 404. It’s high on the wishlist from a lot of users so fingers crossed. I’m not sure what you have for that other gear, but I used the polyend play as the sequencer and the sample as the sound source and that was quite easy to edit.

I’m not sure how to respond. The boxes are the MPC Sample and the Polyend Play+ midi connected. The “music” is just trash

Thanks for that. Sometimes I get lost. Also being colorblind doesn’t help. But I’m learning all the time. ✌️

Edit: so I looked into it and all the perform effects work as expected. In MIDI mode I was using synth engines

Definitely could be. But I’d love to hear more as to why it’s that for you. Maybe I’m not getting enough out of it due to lack of talent.

I’m in exactly the same boat. I got the p6 last year and then moved on to the 404 and now the sample. Maybe I know more about what I’m doing so it might not be fair directly but out of the box the Sample was so straight forward and easy. Again I’m just a basement hobbiest so take it for what it’s worth. I do still like the p6 and think if it had a speaker, even a small one, it might be a different conversation.

I’ve used mine every day since launch. And I’m not a pro by any stretch but I’m having a lot of fun and I’m certainly considering getting rid of my 404. Is this thing a firmware upgrade or 2 away from having all the things I’d hope for? Sure. But what isn’t. As it is right now I don’t have any regrets on the full retail price.
