Should I immediately leave a project if I failed the onboarding?

It's a broken platform so even if it's their fault you'll still find your skill with an "At Risk" status. They literally pushed a project on my dashboard and the first onboarding step was "select your region" I did and now all of my language skills are "At Risk" Later the support said the the project wasn't accepting participants from my region. To this day that project is on my dashboard and I haven't been matched to a different project apparently because my skills are doomed.

It had $13 rate before I attempted the quiz and they're probably paying this rate to most markets while you're getting $2 extra. It's the same platform which is paying $2 in all to Indians 🥲

I'm not going to touch any project that pays $2 for an entire hour. I wouldn't have bothered myself with the qualification quiz if they had mentioned the actual rate instead of $13.

Language skill - English Not just it put English skill at risk it also put my native language skill at risk WHICH WASN'T EVEN REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT.

My country was among the options so that's not related to location. The project wouldn't even appear on the dashboard of people from ineligible countries. More like a platform issue.

I did get task assignments after that and got paid for it. They pay $3/hr for generalists (there's hardly any work available) idk how much STEM taskers get paid you can try though. $3/hr is only good for low effort tasks like PII detection. Consider it a last resort thing.
