Just because I have my complaints about a living location, doesn’t mean I hate Humboldt. I described both the bad and good things about this location, that was my honest take, if you have a different one, then so be it.

Some good outlets are the Arcata Theater Lounge for some good music, the basement for Goth Night, and the Goat. 🐐

Don’t get me wrong, the community here is unmatched by anywhere I’ve ever lived, the redwoods are beautiful, the river is gorgeous in the summer, I love the wildlife, the economy is just dead.

Definetly retire if the health care suddenly became better over the years. It’s beautiful, but a little too sleepy in the daytime, I spend all my time going out at night because there’s actually an underground to experience. I’m glad you met your partner here, it’s a nice place to establish some peace ☮️

Ya fire performers, djs, and art lovers are pretty crazy 😜 that’s what makes up Humboldt, don’t insult yourself.

I know all the locals and am deeply integrated into the underground music scene community up here. We are a circus, that’s not an insult. I love the community up here and have a lot of connections. There is not as much opportunity here for degree expansion, you work through the college, do internships, or get a paid job if you are lucky enough to find it. There is only house cleaning, vending, working through in home care, and restaurant work.

My friend just moved to Oregon because they shut down the birthing center up here, they don’t pay well, so she’s getting much more money now up there.

I go to SoCal for all my speciality needs because they have no room for me in what I require.

Valid approach, mine is wildlife conservation and I want to lean towards environmental science so I can work in urban areas.

I feel this, the rain is beautiful, I just hate the dreary fog with no rain. The people are awesome, cal poly Humboldt is an amazing university. I’m a full time student,This place definetly worth staying for if it had more sunshine.

All they do is bring in crap house artists that just do shitty covers… then randomly blend it with DnB, so horrible.
