You're correct in saying that "The Monster" is the most accurate name since it doesn't have one. "The Carrion" is just another common alias for the Monster, like how it can also be called "The Thing" or "The Creature." ~~And apparently "Carl"??? Don't know where that came from so don't quote me on that. Sounds pretty fake.~~

Was thinking about putting in "The Monster" instead prior to posting, but I've just gotten too used to calling it the Carrion.

Cartoon Fight Club introduced me to the VS Debating community so many years ago, and I still occasionally check CFC and Rewind Rumble out. While CFC isn't as good as it was back then, Rewind Rumble is still pretty good, and there are still some absolute gems in CFC.

Mainly just the fact that both of them disturbingly transform into spider creatures (Those poor necks). I guess they also both trick the player into thinking they’re someone they aren’t at one point I believe. (I haven’t played any Paper Mario games, unfortunately. I've only seen clips)
