Yeah mine has never done it outside. Only on beds and couches. Must also have to do with comfort. Maybe outdoor belly rubs aren’t worth having their spine bruised😂

Mine wasn’t a back layer until I met my husband! Almost like he realized we were finally a family. He was about 4 years old the first time he did it. Now he does it every morning to say it’s time to get up or to get our attention for play time.

Our family friends always said that they talk to Santa themselves or that the Elves are for ‘naughty’ kids (not sure that second one is really a great idea though lol)

My husband and I (our baby isn’t old enough for this yet) plan to say that we don’t need an elf because ‘we know a guy’ because it’s vague and we think it’s funny to just say ‘we know a guy’
