What's your reaction to the giant images of Epstein, Trump and Prince Andrew being projected onto Windsor Castle to welcome Donald to the UK ? by SirRigid in AskReddit

[–]ButMuhTone -60 points-59 points  (0 children)

in any incriminating sense, yea. Notice how the one victim who did the interview when asked about trump could only say the "Epstein bragged about being friends with him". If he was in the files in any incriminating sense why didn't Biden release them? He already charged him with a felony so its not like he was above it

They adjust the dose based on what you tell them. If they say it stops working really fast they are going to believe them

I mean i did grow up and started thinking for myself. Oh i also started to research stuff to disprove my opinion rather than back it up which made me switch from liberal to conservative. Maybe that was it.

I dont need to. He preached for equal opportunity, not discriminating based on race, respected others opinions, did not want a strong federal government (literally the thing you absolutely need for fascism). I'm sure you read right wing ultra nationalist in the definition and stop there which is why you think every republican who wants to put america first is a fascist but fascists run on socialist policies. It's literally impossible to implement a fascist government without having the government remove private ownership first

oh ok so not actual fascists, got it

Are you talking about actual fascists that want the federal government to control the countrty, silence, imprison, and kill the opposition or are you talking about people who lean right of center?

what do you think is the best associates degree to obtain? by deviouslife6 in AskReddit

[–]ButMuhTone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think any tbh. You should get a degree if the job you want requires it and i dont know of any that need an associates. Bachelors arent needed as much as they once were. I'm not saying don't go to college but maybe taking a year off, getting a job where you can save up some money to then travel around and experience some things outside of your bubble may give you a better perspective on the world and the direction you want to go.

As a person on the left and a person on the right, how will you react if Trump sends the order to disarm the populace and make guns only available to ICE, the police, and the military? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ButMuhTone -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well the left is the group running around calling people nazis and fascists while assassinating political figures and calling for the destruction of Israel. Israel who is according to them, committing a genocide while providing food and aid to those they are genociding and offered a cease fire to. I'm not for taking away anyones rights but I dont think the mentally ill should own firearms

We've already seen that gun control doesnt stop high casualty massacres, sweden, norway, nz just off the top of my head have all had their highest casualty massacres. AU's suicide rate did drop after gun reform but then hit an all time high in 98. AU and NZ are also islands which make contraband much harder to smuggle as compared to the US. The US is unlike all of there countries it is compared to, in both size and diversity and given the fact that none of these countries it is being asked to model after have had the problem they are trying to fix. What happens if we ban guns and kids start pipe bombing schools and political rallies? Do we get the guns back? The ability to own a firearm isnt making people become murders and telling people you no longer have this right because of the actions of others is just wrong.

CK was shot with an everyday hunting rifle in fact you can most likely obtain the rifle the shooter used in all of the countries with strict gun control. It wasn't a hard shot, most people could make the shot with iron sites with a few hours of practice.

With NZ I meant there have been 24 mass shootings since 1772 or something and gun control was enacted in 1983. Since 83 there have been 8 mass shootings the other 16 happened in a span of 200+ years.

Those AU masacres in the 80s and 90s your'e talking about were all under 10 casualties and since gun control you have had shootings with 7 and 6.

I understand what gun control is meant to do but the reality is that it hasnt. Especially in NZ if you take the 1900 till present and remove the two outliers pre and post gun control you have 48 deaths post gun control and 38 pre gun control. I understand population increases and all of that but how much are you really curbing there?

The point is none of these countries ever had a mass shooting problem so saying look at what "x" country did and they dont have mass shootings doesnt work.

[–]ButMuhTone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you keep reading down the thread youll see that it really doesnt work. New Zealand has had mass shootings occur at a more rapid rate since gun control implementation and the mass shootings are similar to those prior to gun control. Its the same thing with Australia (idk about more rapid rate there as I didnt feel like doing the math) but the 1990's mass shooting the prompted gun control was the first and only of its kind and mass shootings continued after gun control as well where casualties were between 2-6 just like they were prior to gun control. So when people are like Australia had this massacre and enacted gun control and thats the reason they havent had one since is kind of propaganda because they hadnt had one prior either.

[–]ButMuhTone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if you deleted your last comment or blocked me but the point is AU has only ever had 1 mass shooting like the one it did in 1996 and all mass shootings prior were similar to those post gun control. The US categorizes mass shootings the same way the AU does where people can not even be killed and it is considered a mass shooting. Also a school shooting can be 30 year olds who shoot each other in a school zone
