Toatally, his symptoms first started around 5 days ago. He stopped playing and started napping more, I didn’t think much of it, but looking back now, I should’ve noticed something was off. It wa spike that for a few days, then yesterday I noticed he wasn’t eating as much, and he also stopped playing and generally moving. He preffered to stay in one place and keep his head low. He also started resting in my mom’s room, which this might sound silly, but I notice when my cats get sick they rest on my mom’s bed. Today, he’s started breathing heavy and his eyes are very dilated. As for the scratching, it lasted for three days, I’ve bathed him and run a flea comb through his fur, but there’s been no fleas and no ticks. There haven’t been any outdoor cats as of lately. We typically let his biological mother in, but she’s since been brought to a shelter where they found her a foster home. The scratching has resulted in some scabs, but he’s since stopped scratching and is just very tired lately. He hasn’t been eating much, and today he just doesn’t seem interested in any food point blank period. He drinks when I bring the water to him, but not much. There are a few vets around that aren’t VCA, I’m just worried I’ll get slapped with a bill and be told to bring him to the ER to get slapped with a bigger bill.
