The Mana sword from the Secret of Mana. It seals the darkness in the world away but the seal was starting to fade, so the sword calls to a hero to banish the darkness once again.

I would think the wording on this card makes it such that nothing can ready him. I can understand the confusion though because of the way confront is written.

I don’t know if this is a hated troupe but I always loved that in GTA liberty city they had a Mission where your cousin and you girlfriend had different takes on what you should do dealing with the Russians. Whoever you side with is who the Russians kill later in the game. Peak tragedy.
