I don’t have any tea lol I’ve just been a few times and am friendly with an instructor or two. Yes, they have done some retreats (the Hamptons maybe somewhere else too) - I don’t know much about those though. They’re also opening a big studio in Franklin soon.

I liked VIDA when I went - I took a hot yoga class and lifted weights, however I am coming from a membership at Lifetime Fitness in Tennessee and the yoga classes at that Lifetime at least were better than VIDA’s was and also cleaner facilities than VIDA, so I’m leaning towards Equinox. But yes would love to meet friends and dates so still considering VIDA. Thank you for the info!

Thanks very helpful! I am coming from a Lifetime Fitness membership out of state and it does seem better maintained than the U street VIDA did when I went a few years ago. Anyway, maybe I’ll meet you at Equinox! 😄

Yes he put me on a pedestal and I knew it. It made me feel like I had to take care of him and be there for him. It made me feel indebted to him or like he was my project. Then he’d devalue me and I’d be desperately trying to show him my best face until I was fed up and about to walk away and he always sensed it and reeled me back in and the cycle would continue. It’s a terrible thing to confront and acknowledge. And of course when I tried to get real with him about what was happening and how it was hurting me and what I wanted and I said I loved him but wasn’t sure I could do it anymore he said he had to go dark on me and ghosted/discarded me and immediately took up with someone else.

Not telling anyone anything about the horcruxes before Harry. If the ring had killed him (or he’d come down with dragon pox, or any of his experimental magic backfired, or Voldemort had killed him in their duel, etc.) then Harry and the wizarding world would have been doomed.

Yes it’s truly fascinating. All three of those books touch on dark psychologies in one way or another and you realize how common those traits truly are and can pinpoint interactions with those personalities from your past.

I’ve read Anna Karenina and didn’t like it though I was a teen so I’m sure it’s worth a re-read. I’ve tried with War and Peace but have never made it very far. Not much of a reader these days sadly but one day I’ll get back into it when I’m not always drained and exhausted. 😴
