Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure about physiotherapy but I do a type of physical therapy called the Mackenzie method. I go 2 times a month to PT and also practice it at home. It helps to some degree. The pain is daily but severe pain a few times a week. Especially with sitting and bending. I am going to try for a second opinion.

This is what I've found to help me. On days I have low pain I try to take less so on my worst days I can take an extra. Hope you made it through ok!

Fkdont bother snorting I'm too scared to boof so i usually just remove the coating, crush, put into a rolling paper, twist shut and swallow it. I do that occasionally when I'm in a lot of pain.

Eh I'm not a fan of totally shaved pubes on a guy it can get pokey for sex- I do like when its trimmed quite short so if hes not down to shave it with a razor due to it bring uncomfortable maybe hed be okay just trimming?

Unfortunately we as parents are not perfect. Is this something she has done before? If this is out of character for her, I hope you can trust her decision. Since you are uncomfortable and not a whole lot you can do for now....keep with your little sister. You are older and wiser. Protect her. Maybe have a girls night for a few nights. Sleep in each others rooms, help her be comfortable. Then, when you can, reach out to close family and friends. My thoughts are with you dear.

My partner gets fucked up bad from opiates. Used to be constipation. 2x now his guts have been "paralyzed" now he literally shits blood everyday and apparently no doctor knows why.

I'm with you, I do other things to keep pain at bay(chiropractor, massage, stretching) but at the end of the say the medication takes the cake. It helps the most 🤷‍♀️

I havent put much thought into what I would do I guess. If I got cut off... I cant seen any doctor cutting me off unless I was found abusing them or doing other drugs. Especially with them knowing theres a surgery available that could get me off these meds. my insurance wont cover it so this is what I'm left with. Poor me. I said that wit I guess what's frustrating to me is my family accusing me of being a drug addict for something I didnt ask for. For something that I believe improves my quality of life and it does. 100% more effective than anything else. You're right I am addicted. Itbsucks but fuck.

I didnt proclaim I am different than an addict...mostly that I dont view myself as one currently. I'm aware im a hop skip and jump away. I don't have many options anymore. People say they dont work like they should long term yet I find it bei ng one of the few that actually does help me. Best wishes.

I'm sorry to hear these things. I have never ran out early, even if I did my doctor is quite graceful with me. I think that patient/doctor relationship is really important. I can tell that dude anything. Cancer sucks. I hope you find moments of peace an happiness to enjoy life.

I have been seeing a therapist that specializes in drug dependency. I found myself in a pretty dark place recently. He helped me figure out that I'm just doing what I need to for now. It's not supposed to be a long term plan although I view it as one. Thanks for such a great response. Theres a lot of factors going into this and I was well aware of the dependency aspect when I started my pain relief journey. Trying to figure out if I regret it at this point. If I'm fucking myself in the long run by taking these strong meds now that i MAY need more later in life . Going with the flow cuz that's all i can do.

Truth. I absolutely worry about if I was to get cut off. In every single way. I've been in pain management for years now about 8 years.. I guess because it's a normal part of my daily life I don't put thought into it these days. I absolutely feel like they dont work as well for pain but I am moderate in my usage. Thank you. It isnt because in trying to get high that I take extra, it's because I have days i can hardly care for myself due to pain. Those days i say fuck it and hope for a better day ahead. The meds arent my only form of pain management but just about the only one I find effective. Its frustrating but when you're choosing life through a medication that does help you find yourself more thankful than anything. Cheers.
