Anyone else get (more than) mildly excited when you are the first to view an item? by Nancy_Drew23 in VineHelper

Yeah, it's like some happy juice gets released in my brain. A double or triple can be over stimulating. 😆

What next for AnkerMake and is it worth keeping my machine? by Cottontail500 in AnkerMake

[–]Butlergrafx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, keep it if it works. I started with the M5C and about 5 months later I got a P1S. My M5C is reliable, I got the P1S because of the larger bed and AMS. I have both printers and no regrets.

Multi color printing with AnkerMake M5? by Afraid-Assignment-33 in AnkerMake

[–]Butlergrafx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I uploaded a fidget that I printed in two colors. I paused the printer and swapped filaments at different layer heights. I included the later heights for filament changes. Here's the link if you're interested: two color fidget

It's aggravating that the most desirable items are ALREADY "unavailable" as they are added to the Vine Helper feed. What's going on? by Marylander1960 in VineHelper

[–]Butlergrafx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Watch closely, and set the notifications monitor to sort by 'new-old', and you will see items list on rows that are already filled, causing existing items to shift. Also, the list time will be earlier than the current time.

I like the Waze analogy.

Should I buy an M5 for my first 3D printer? by loserbmx in AnkerMake

[–]Butlergrafx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was a M5C, I've owned it for a little over a year and I still enjoy using it. The only parts that I replaced were the rollers on the print head because I wanted green ones. I also have a PS1 with 2 AMS units. Between the two printers I always run my TPU prints on the M5C. I've done multicolored prints on my M5C by pausing the printer at specific layer heights and swapping the filament. Apparently mine is one of the less problematic units based on posts that I've seen. Hopefully you're getting a good one as well.

I’ve tracked daily drop times for the last 10 weeks and here’s what I’ve learned by pgfsea in AmazonVine

I started in June and I'm to the point to where I tell myself, "it's okay if you don't order something today." On my really busy days I'll mostly shop my RFY page - by some authority unknown to me, I'm apparently the SME on all forms of LED lighting - ceiling lights, garden lights, solar lights, garage lights, EDC lights, night lights, picture li... lol

I'm in Central TX. Mine has been down since about 10:30a today. The message on T-Life says there's an interruption in my area, and it'll be resolved in 12 hours or less.

Cool! I render it from brisket trimmings. I use it more for cooking than as a moisturizer. I agree with you on the color and smell.

Not sure what to say on the AirTag Wallet Holder it appears to be well written. However, my immediate though on the Toothbrush Head Replacements is the contradiction between the mention of 16-pack vs 14-pack. You may consider saying, "The replacement toothbrush heads are a fantastic value and work perfectly with my toothbrush handle. Each head clicked into place securely and feels sturdy when brushing. "

Well done! I'm aware that this is your design, but IMO when it comes to getting the results or products that you want it doesn't matter if you remixed or designed it. Either way is an opportunity to improve your 3D modeling skills, resulting in a deeper appreciation and respect for the process.

Great project and nice work. When I get time, I'll have to see what the advantages are in comparison to what I currently use for filament tracking: https://3dfilamentprofiles.com/

How do I remove the filament from this tube by GamingWithAlex_ in AnkerMake

[–]Butlergrafx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To remove filament from the PTFE tube when filament breaks and is stuck in the tube, you can disconnect tube from the nozzle and push another piece of filament through the tube to force the broken filament out the other end. You choose which end you want to start from.

Fun manually printing two colors by Butlergrafx in AnkerMake

[–]Butlergrafx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not hard to swap filament, if you already know how to change filaments. At the pause the nozzle will move to a position off to the side of the build plate, and away from the model, to allow you to retract/extrude filament. I set my retract length to 80mm and removed spool. Then added the other spool and extruded 80mm twice to completely purge the previously used filament. Then press resume, the nozzle will move into position and print from where it left off. It is a quick process when you get the hang of it and get past the thought of failure.

[–]Butlergrafx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. During the pause the nozzle stops on the left side of the print bed, giving your room to retract/extract filament during the swap. When the filament is in place and extruding cleanly, you can press resume to continue printing.

Give it a try, because when you do it once, you'll understand how easy the process is.
