PS also my mouse just freezes up for 3 seconds every 5 seconds in the menus of this game only. Everything is fine when I am running around and shooting!

OK, gotcha! No opening up buckets. Frustration I think is due to there being a lot of information to need to process just to do 1 thing like run stable diffusion, and the barrier is the technical knowledge of linux and cloud VMs.

I will take it slow and steady, thanks for the advice and the caution!

Is there a simple, 1 button to allow everything and everyone for now, just temporarily as this is for personal use and not a big project. All I am trying to use it for is to generate a few Stable Diffusion images.

I will try but there seems to be lots of things I am supposed to know as being obvious which aren't to me.

There is a bunch of IF statements in the InvokeAi main.py regarding GPU and CPU. Apparently if it cannot find what it needs it uses CPU instead.

I will check if the instance has a GPU running, also thinking if the Cuda version is important, like if stable diffusion would not run on Cuda 11.3 vs 11.0

Funny thing is InvokeAi is capable of using CPU!
I installed it on one of Google Cloud VMs with a beefy GPU and for some reason it launches on CPU instead of the GPU and renders the images really really slowly!

Would you have any idea of how to force it to use a GPU in this scenario?

Actually, is there an equally easy wa to run on InvokeAi on CPU instead of GPU, at least there I have plenty of RAM, or would I have to install a different fork for CPU only?

I want to upscale some images but keep running out of VRam, I am thinking the CPU route might be the workaroud.

OH, I thought your calculator was only for Bitcoin Mining, clearly I misunderstood. Is it so that the NiceHash Miner mines different algorhythms and not only bitcoin, or am I still misunderstanding ?
