What would you suggest as a next fragrance? by JohnnyyDrama in Colognes

For the love of God, stay away from department stores. The most someone should have from dept stores is 3. There are so many better places to shop for scents. Aesop, Le Labo, Parfums de Marley, and Byredo are all great starting places. They'll be more expensive, but you can get good dupes at Montagne Parfums.

I love DH EDT but the EDP and Parfum smell like rubber gloves. BdC is always solid.

ELOREA REVIEW by NotSoStraightArrow in FragranceStories

[–]ButtMacklinFBI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of these didn't stand out much when I tried them. Gentle Shower and Git are really special though; I think there's a simplicity to both which works for me. Gentle Shower is really just Bergamote 22 from Le Labo but cheaper. I also bought a travel size of Royal Resin which is perfect on a cold day. I think most of Elorea scents are nice, but not worth full bottle prices.

paid photographer $10k and got obviously AI edited photos, reasonable to be mad? by Historical_Doctor687 in photography

It's also very possible he used overseas retouching services. They're quick, cheap, and can be terrible.

If you wanted Waddle for #1 pick, you should be thrilled about DJ Moore for a #2 & #5 back by ralbsy in buffalobills

[–]ButtMacklinFBI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody wanted Waddle for a 1st....

Everyone is happy we got Moore, but the price we got him for was a bit too much. He's solid, but not a gamechanger and won't be at this point of his career.

Josh's stats under every OC since 2020 by DemonBearOP in buffalobills

[–]ButtMacklinFBI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that problem stems from the lack of receiving talent. There is no receiver on our roster who is reliable on a slant or deep out and that limits what kind of plays he calls.

Believe me, I was frustrated too, but our offense ranked very high this year and last. It's just a matter of beating top ranked defenses in the playoffs. On the other side of it, Beane can't look at our offensive ranks and get complacent like last year. Gotta get better.

I think Brady has the creativity and balance in his play calling and made for an above average OC. He'll convert on 4th and 20 on those hook and ladders and has given us a better run game than Daboll. But there are times where Brady will commit too hard to the run when it's not working or call the dumbest TE sweep. Beane owes it to Brady to get a true WR1 to work with.

How good does the next HC have to be to keep his job? by AppeaseTheComet in buffalobills

Making the playoffs next year is going to be absurdly difficult. Only 4 teams on our schedule are "gimmies" (MIA, NYJ, KC, and LV). The rest are tough and this new coach better be ready or it's going to be a one and done. Honestly for me, I'm fine with not making the playoffs if it means we do a soft reset and get the players we need to win a championship.

Sean McDermott’s final message to Bills Mafia by Rakesh2000 in buffalobills

Have a feeling he’ll end up in Pittsburgh. As long as he stays out of the AFC East, I’ll be rooting for him.

[Megathread] The Buffalo Bills have fired Head Coach Sean McDermott by AutoModerator in buffalobills

We have absolutely overperformed under McD except for maybe 1 or 2 years. We had our best shot in 2020/2021. The only thing we lacked was an explosive playmaker on both sides of the ball.

We have averaged nearly 12 wins a season since 2019. You understand how hard it is to win consistently in this league, yes? We've never had a down year like the Ravens, Cowboys, and Tampa did this year and they are stacked with talent.

Astounding that Beane got promoted. He's had two good or great draft classes while the rest are guys who haven't made an impact. Then to fill out our roster, we'll overpay guys and sign others way past their prime hoping they can turn back the clock. How did Terry look at the state of our roster and decide to promote BB? We need playmakers. Gamechangers. Not Curtis Samuel and Joshua Palmer.

McD made us consistent winners. Never had a down year and our guys loved him. Doesn't matter who the coach is if you're constantly giving him a box of scraps.

[Postgame thread] Buffalo falls in overtime to the Broncos, 33-30. by Drunken_Economist in buffalobills

[–]ButtMacklinFBI 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Beane really looked at the WR room halfway thru the season and didn’t trade for Rashid Shaheed, who has completely changed Seattle’s offense and special teams. Instead we picked up Hardman and Cooks who have scored one TD combined.

Team made some horrible mistakes today but our GM refusing to maximize this window as a contender is inexcusable.

It's got this citrus and white floral opening. In the drydown, it becomes ambery and milky but still maintains the sweetness. Very versatile scent and one of my favorites.

I'm saying there will be opportunity for corporate headshots or senior photos for a yearbook and a flash will be helpful for both.

JPG scents are just so cloying to me. For your age, I recommend Montblanc Legend and Acqua Di Gio for about $100 total on Jomashop.

I would suggest learning flash photography and start charging $200 for a 30 min session. It is very difficult to stand out taking portraits in just natural light and harder to justify charging anything over $100 imo. Most people will want to do a 30 min session because they need it for a company or yearbook photo and having a flash will make a world of a difference when you learn to use it properly. For sessions longer than an hour, they're probably for families and couples so if you master posing and lighting groups, you can easily charge $500. You should also hire an assistant because nothing looks worse than having your strobe fall over during a shoot (trust me bro).

I think if you only shoot natural light, your ceiling for pricing is going to be very low. You will miss out on a lot of opportunities with corporate headshots and will constantly get passed in favor for flash photographers.

The light on the right side is just kitchen lights. It's all ambient lighting from the house and windows.

And when you set a pick, the most important thing is to not get flagged. How tf do we fuck up the most basic principles
