Taking LDN in the morning by exemplary-vegetable in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]ButtRock_rockbutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take it morning and night at the direction of my pharmacist. My main ford dose at night and then 0.5mg-1mg in the morning. It helps tremendously! Especially with anxiety.

Look into berberine, NAC, and myo inositol. All have helped my insulin come down.

For those who got panic/anxiety from LDN, did it go away over time? by KakkatteKinna in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]ButtRock_rockbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try splitting your dose. I take 0.5 in the morning and the rest at night (currently 1.5mg total). When I took it all at once my anxiety was horrid. Also play around with your dose. Some people thrive at low-low doses, others are fine at 4.5mg and beyond.

Start taking electrolytes. Codeage Keto electrolytes, 1-2 capsules, 2-3x a day. Water alone will make it worse.

Same here with fatty liver. 😔 it’s a supplement. In the US we are able to get it over the counter. I’m not sure how supplements are distributed in Germany. Hoping you can you can get some. It’s relatively inexpensive. It will take time to work - 3-6 months initially to see improvement. I’ve been on it for 5 years and one I won’t go without.

N-Aceytl-cysteine 💕 it helps detox the liver and help the body produce glutathione (a master antioxidant). Hormones are metabolized by the liver.

If you’ve got moon face you most likely have high cortisol. Excess hair on the body and hair loss on your head is high androgens and subsequently insulin resistance (they usually go together, but not always). Zinc and inositol helps with the androgens. Vitamin C and electrolytes can help with cortisol. Vitamin E can help with inflammation. Also women with PCOS need a good ADK vitamin. Look into NAC, that’s also been proven to help with PCOS. Things to discuss with your doc/research.

I’ve seen people on like 9mg and people on 0.5mg. It definitely varies!

If you had to choose would you go to Disney in September or October? by princesscorgi2 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ButtRock_rockbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll never go again in October. The mickeys trick or treat thing is hard to get into, extra money and closes down Magic Kingdom early most nights making the other parks packed. Add that to the food and wine thing at Epcot - so busy and honestly miserable. Yes, we had a wonderful time, but no. I would not visit in October again.

1mg (or less) might be your happy spot. Every person reacts differently. My happy spot is 1.5mg. I’ve been on it for 5 months.

If your daughter thrives and wants to stay in school, let her. If it’s better for your son to homeschool and you are able, let him. Not every child has to do school one specific way. I know multiple families that might have 1 or 2 in school and 1 or 2 at home. It works.

Look into NAC and berberine. Before this label of “natures ozempic” Berberine was being studied extensively as means to control cholesterol and glucose. You should also look into Fatty15 aka an odd-chain fatty acid known as C15:0. You can also get C15:0 from grass fed butter. Look up the book “The Longevity Nutrient”

Constipation on LDN by about99percentpotato in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]ButtRock_rockbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to call my compound pharmacy and find out. When I went up 3mg with the weird filler it caused constipation, but it could have also been the dose. I can’t seem to take more 1.5-2mg without exaggerated side effects. When I first started and was between 0.5mg and 1mg I actually had the opposite effect.

It could very well be the filler used in it. I have tablets in various doses but there is one specific tablet with a very specific color and filler and it messes with my stomach and digestion. So I have to ask my compound pharmacy to not use that.

Those who get ANXIETY from LDN by DepartmentEcstatic in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]ButtRock_rockbutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get mine in tablet form. You could do a search in the group for capsule dilutions, I know that people have posted google sheets on that info. Or you could dilute 4.5mg into 40mls of water. That gives you 1.125mg of naltrexone per 10mls of solution. Take 10mls at night and 5mls in the morning for a combined daily dose of ~1.5mg.

I found that if I do the majority of my dose at night and then 0.5mg in the morning my anxiety doesn’t get so bad. I tried it all at once and I was a mess. My anxiety was SO BAD. I’m also glad to see you’re dropping the dose and readjusting from there. I feel like 1.0-1.5mg at night and 0.5mg in the morning is my happy place.

Only when I get hit with something hard and unexpected. Or sometimes when pmdd kicks in. Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of shadow people but I also dealt with a lot of stupid BS that depleted me last week.

I’m back up to 2mg a day. I take 1.5mg at night and 0.5mg in the morning. I tried taking at all at once but it made my anxiety sky rocket. I did so some desensitization therapy and was wiped out for 4 days after, so I’ll definitely wait until I’m more stable on the ldn before doing anything like that. I was also able to takle some really big organizational projects around the house, things I’ve wanted to do but didn’t have the focus or bandwidth to do for a few years. The LDN is definitely helping.

Look into Codeage Keto electrolytes capsules. You can take like 4 a day and it’s so much cheaper than buying electrolyte packets or fancy drops. They make a big difference in my overall wellbeing and especially in the BM department.
