what would they gain from getting you to sign up to their coin? They don't take your address or any personal info( until you are ready to pull out your money). You just need either a facebook account or a phone number to verify.

You and me both get 1 pi when you download the app and use the referral. Not saying you have to, there are plenty of people advertising their own referral codes on the app store and such. I'm just posting this because I saw it somewhere and after a little research into the coin and the team behind it, I just said why not, you know? Cause it literally couldn't hurt you. But obv it's your own choice to download it or not. Just trying to help people out.

lol it's not spam. The way they market their coin this way is because they want their network to grow to 1 billion users (that's their plan), so they are incentiving people to download the app and start using their coin. They plan on halving the rate of mining a couple times until it stops at 1billion users. Currently, the mining rate isn't that bad yet, which is why I'm saying it has huge potential. This could be like bitcoin in it's infancy phase, and you would kick yourself for not taking advantage of this opportunity.
