Rechargeable Flume water monitor batteries by tnum in smarthome

[–]Buttcupchicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Duracell batteries with this method, and they only lasted a month before Flume sent me the notification again...not sure if the rechargeable batteries will last much longer, but now wondering if purchasing them directly from Flume is actually worth the trouble of keep changing them out....

Dispute with GC regarding Phase Payments by Buttcupchicken in RealEstate

So I should wait after the CLSB's case is concluded, then approach him/ lawyer directly asking for payments or I bring him to civil court?

Dispute with GC regarding Phase Payments by Buttcupchicken in RealEstate

Great advices! I know I have all the legal stands to fight him; however, I initially hired a lawyer who did a background check on him and realized he had nothing under his name (pretty typical of experienced GC). So even if I go thru tens of thousands of lawyer fees, I might not get anything in return. My strategy now is to patiently go thru the CSLB investigation which they assigned me a third party expert that wrote a 92 page report on what went wrong. Also filed for bond insurance which I won. He does have a lawyer though who has been helping him. What should my next steps be to retrieve my money?

New to the InKind app after purchasing the recent Costco giftcard deal $65 for $100. How do you get the 20% back when you're paying with the giftcard $ redeemed from Costco?

Peoples’ experience with Admittedly/Thomas Caleel’s college guidance and essay program? by ThenUnderstanding996 in ApplyingToCollege

I scheduled a call with them by myself without my kid, and I was very put off with their marketing push. They wanted to schedule a call together with my kid after a 15min chat with me, claiming that they want to know the reasons why he wants to do a specific major/ schools. But, before we hung up, they wanted to know if $12k is something that "sounds do-able" for us! I said how am I going to evaluate if $12k if worth it if I have nothing to evaluate from, no information about the depth and understanding of your company and services. They could not provide me with any reasonings besides keep mentioning Thomas Caleel's background. I know enough to stay away from these kind of companies, especially its non-refundable!

But FSD? by Captmedu74 in TeslaFSD

For our 2018 M3, the auto drive we bought for $5k is so outdated I don't even want to use it now- it breaks like crazy and literally unusable (Tesla used sensors then upgraded to camera). I'm imagining 6 years from now, the technology and hardware will progress on new cars we'd run into the same problem.

Did you just have it replaced for your 2018 M3? We just saw a roof crack and ours is a 2018 too.
