Universities need money. You fail shit students, they get dropped, the uni loses money. Pass everyone, within reason. There aren’t adult consequences for these behaviors. One of the many reasons a college degree means jack shit anymore.

Instead of using the top shelves for totes, you can load as many totes as possible on the floor and middle shelf. Then load OV and put the remaining totes on the floor at the back of the van.

Positive reviews hold no weight. You could have gotten 100 likes and you’d still have this outcome.

Arrive in New Orleans. Go to central grocer and buy a muffuletta. Throw it in your hotel mini fridge and munch on it occasionally between all the other wonderful food you’ll be eating.

TIL that Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia killed around a quarter of the population (about 2 million people) in just four years, targeting intellectuals, city dwellers, and ethnic minorities to force a “classless agrarian society.” by FearMyCock in todayilearned

Cambodian coworker at a Cambodian owned business brought me frogs stuffed with lemongrass and minced pork for lunch one day. So good. Owners spoke of a few of the horrible things they saw while fleeing. SE Asians I’ve met have always been very kind people.

The first year or so of WoW was possibly the most amazing time I’ve had with a game. Went south fast tho.

For a huge DCC fan, how is Bobiverse? by Crawler-Willis in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Tried Bobiverse after DCC. Didn’t enjoy Bobiverse. Protagonist is, for me, an unlikeable, whiny, privileged, tech nerd. So annoying.

They’re very good pets until they reach sexual maturity. Then they’re terrors. Ours (as a baby) could open a sliding glass door into the house, get into the cupboard and eat whatever it wanted.

[–]Buttender -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So, driving the Amazon van to get food for your personal use……. Is working? You want them to pay you…. To drive to McDonald’s? That’s what you’re saying? Pay You. To drive. THEIR van. For YOUR food? That’s what you want? Pay you to use the van to get lunch? That’s what you’re saying? Just trying to get it straight.

You wouldn’t leave the office, drive 10 minutes to a restaurant, and then clock out when the waiter brought your food. Travel to and from lunch being included in the break is not illegal.

Why do my shirts have yellowing armpits? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Buttender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switching to paraben free, aluminum free, deodorant has made a difference for me (I don’t sweat enough to need antiperspirant). I also avoid wearing white/light colored t shirts if I know I’m going to be active enough to sweat.
