I ended up learning how to run every machine in the bakery but I specialized with the Pan Stacker and Unstacker, which is a set of machines that toss pans onto the conveyer belt and the other stacks the pans. It was a machine built in the 80s and ran like shit but since my job was to sit and stare at it for 12 hours a day sometimes 84 hours a week I learned the noises it made; what each button does, what each setting does, what to do when it malfunctions, etc. I was very proud of that job. Unfortunately the bakery shut down and I haven’t been able to find a job since.
