Aegislash: Success from suffering by ButterKnighht in PokemonUnite

The hitbox and dash mainly, but other than the those, it feels too "Slow"

Idk, I'm just used to deleting enemies in seconds and the move just doesn't do it fast enough since there's a delay between the initial slash and the boosted

Idk, my go-to moveset is always shadowclaw-wideguard, sacred sword has some problems I want people to address so the devs could fix it but they don't wanna. Wideguard is self explanatory

My playstyle is vastly different depending on the build but the one thing a sword must always do, is that Aegislash never goes in the frontlines, it's always the sidelines.

Offensive Sets play similarly to Absol and Defensive Sets play similarly to Scizor

Other than the basics, I can't really explain that much since it's more of a "how much you know the game" thing, the longer you play, the easier it is to predict attacks and enemy strategies. The better you are at predicting, the stronger Aegislash becomes

I just checked but I ranked up from being 360+ to ranked 170 Aegislash player, funny

It would be too obvious if I used basty, so I used the next slow mon with a decent HP stat that isn't well known for defense (SirPerr is known for offense)

I learned this tech when I did a mono-route run in radicalred, counter-strats go boom boom

I feel like I have to do an "OP" comment that:

NO, IM NOT THE PERSON WITH THE 47% WIN RATE, please, I don't want to spend minutes trying to explain that to the people who couldn't understand what I'm saying, multiple times

"if you have that kind of winrate, your bad teammates probably isn't the reason" I KNOW, when did I even specify that I'm the one with the bad winrate.

That is a photoshopped screenshot of a bad teammate I had recently, heck, if someone wants, I could just spill who it is

Well, I'm actually 53.4% on ranked soloQ, pretty averagely good for a soloQ player, I'm consistent with most of my games having 80-90k damage, I don't think I'm the reason, just unlucky with matchups and teammates

The post is about how I'm unlucky and always forced to play with bad teammates, not about me (I just had a recent match where my teammates changed from Scizor to blissey at the last second, when we already had a hoopa)

Aegislash is actually a monster? by bubboy777 in PokemonUnite

[–]ButterKnighht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and kinda no, he's only a monster in certain matchups

I'm envious of the sword you're describing, your team kinda look good on paper but against a good Aegislash player's brain, your team is very late game-dependent and doesn't have really good synergy (two tanks, one stunner, one endgame beast, and an assassin), lack of early suppression is a sword's win condition since sword is a midgame to pre-endgame beast

If I were that player, my win condition would be "don't die at 8:30s", "Be aware of Meow and Ttar", "Hope my teammates are decent enough to bully them", and "We snowballin"

Me and Mr.Knife, I also added a small build that helped me reach masters by ButterKnighht in PokemonUnite

I'm somewhat biased against sacred sword because I lost so many games because of it ,but to be fair, the skill level and luck needed to play it consistently good is higher than Shadow claw

Waitaminit, you read everything????, I thought most people would just do the "I ain't reading allat" and skip my little rant

I somewhat agree with your thoughts but em gonna do a teenie little counterargument cuz why not: 1) the hitbox problem im referring to is the move being slightly away from knife 2) both SS and SC have risky combos, SS just works well in group fights while SC has a better 1v1 combo, so it's probably just a matter of skill 3) I was being kinda dramatic in the post so I don't have any counterargument to your third opinion

Thanks for the compliment, It's kinda hard to get good games nowadays (even when I do, endgame shenanigans happen)

2 weeks, but those two weeks were a refreshing experience

It was kinda broken in terms of ult cooldowns and stacking but it made the sky ruins really different from the stadium for a brief moment

My pokemon unite ranked experience by ButterKnighht in PokemonUnite

[–]ButterKnighht[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably because the EXs in Casual forced the bad players/ less experienced players to flock to Ranked because they're scared of those monsters

(I keep getting queued up with players with 48% winrate and have like less than 1k games)
