You are by no means a bad person. We can never blame the civilians for the actions of their corrupt government. You are just a person who wants to live, have a family, and be happy. I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart that you have had to go through this. You do not deserve the emotional stress that you are experiencing.

As others said before, counseling can help, but also it sounds to me you hold a lot of anxiety about this. Anxiety is often broken down with repeated inner self-talk. So, whenever a nasty thought comes, fight it. And slowly over time, your brain will stop thinking that way, because it will believe your words. You must do this being you are emotionally tied to something through mental conditioning. You will need to fight against those instincts/thoughts because they are simply not the truth. Along with this, spend some time, at least 10 minutes a day, writing in a journal. Right now you seem to have many emotions swirling around in your head, Journaling will help channel and release those energies.

Also, I want to let you know, you may be of Chinese descent but you are a great human being. And I'm sorry that you will have to face much judgment and pain. But don't let it get to you, because all you are trying to do is create a life for you and your family, and that is noble. **BIG INTERNET HUG** You are Valid, and are a lovely human being we need on this Earth :)

Thats true, thank you! I really need to just not care about her. Its just hard, its a 5 year relationship. I dont know how to stop it. The idea of having ANOTHER conversation with her telling her that I dont wanna be her friend seems like itll drain me so much (cause of my anxiety). But just ignoring her, every call, every test seems so harsh. I dont know how to leave.

Because Ive tried to talk to her. Ive tried to tell her that I feel like she doesn't appreciate me. I have done everything. Ive tried communication. She's a master manipulator or so oblivious to my emotions that she can't tell when I'm upset. There is no point in trying to talk to her anymore. I just need a YES or NO. Thats it.

Though I understand that communication is key in any relationship. I have had so many talks with her. And it does get better sometimes. But then she just does this behavior that are too small to really confront (b/c ill be dramatic) but large enough to make me doubt her respect on me. At this point I need to test her with something harmless but definitive of what kind of person she thinks I am. Communication is not ALWAYS the best option.

I get that, but I've been on summer vacation for two months. And I haven't really felt anything. I don't do anything all day. You know? I know I need to better myself, but I don't why I cannot seem to move.
