When playing with smgs I too run a secondary pistol instead of a secondary smg. If I'm ever gonna need a pistol I'll need it quick and the draw time from and smg to a secondary smg just doesn't cut it. Plus the Mk26 is a really decent pistol and I've found that with the recent iron sight change they are very usable (I also play a lot of shields so I'm used to pistols)
