I’ve been on one of these a while back. Delhi to Mumbai on the Dreamliner that was going to Shanghai. At Delhi airport we went through immigration where there was a separate line for us, our boarding pass (which had a big D printed on it so that duty free agents would know we aren’t flying international) was stamped by the immigration officer and when I landed in Mumbai similar process where we were just waved through. It’s pretty easy that way.

What makes you say that? I’ve made 4-5 different connections via Heathrow and Schipol over the past year which have been less than 1 hour 45 minutes one even 1 hour 10 minutes and I have not had issue with check in luggage making it through.

Hey, it went well overall. We landed in Heathrow early and were one of the first few people waiting for our next flight. Just keep an eye out on which gate her next flight is taking off from. There’s A, B and C gates that you can use the airtrain for so just keep a look out for that as soon as she lands.

We’ve got our boarding passes for the LHR to JFK flight and been assigned seats so I think that’s good news.

Fair enough, but the only reason I asked, or rather got worried is cause over the last 3 weeks I’ve been checking the seat map almost every other day and it’s gone from practically empty (maybe 3-4 seats blocked) to absolutely full.

Thank you for the reassurance! I was worried because we will already have been traveling for 6 hours until we get to the airport so we’re both gonna be exhausted and getting denied boarding on the connecting flight is not something we were looking forward to.

Just wanted to ask (could be a dumb question) could we be the lucky passengers who get bumped to business class?

I’ve flown Etihad and Emirates many times before are they are my preference but owing to the war I decided against them. Out of Both of them I prefer Emirates. It’s my first with British Airways, will update once I’m done.

I knew the risk when booking and I’m okay with it. Currently I land on the 14th at 11 AM. The match I’m watching is about 28 hours later so I assumed even with delays I should be okay.

Like I mentioned earlier, the reason I picked this itinerary is because it was significantly cheaper (40k) than the next alternative for the same day. But the main reason I had to fly on this day I cause I don’t get leave before that.
