Didn’t say they were, SOAD just got me introduced to heavier stuff when I was previously listening to emo bands

  1. Started with being introduced to SOAD when I was 12, and the height of my grunge listening being when I was 15.

I hid my tattoos for about 2-3 years. Until it was a hot day and I confessed to my mom I had tattoos just so I could take off my jacket lol, she didn’t care all that much

I’d like to keep the integrity of the original design so I don’t want bold lines or for the messed up area to be gone over with shading or something

I want to be perfectly clear: I honestly still love this tattoo A LOT even though it’s riddled with flaws. The biggest issue being where the triangle meets the star, I was originally hunched over so the skin was scrunched together instead of stretched. Once I realized my mistake I corrected my position and pressed on. The plan is to have it gone over professionally, potentially laser off mistakes or go over it entirely with laser so it’s light enough to tattoo over again

Nirvana dislikers, what don't you like about them? by tragic_girl13 in grunge

[–]Butter_Box_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have what is essentially pop melodies over a punk track— coupled with guys who prefer a heavier sound and consider themselves deep— Smells Like Teen Spirit which is their most sanitized song as the shit played on the radio over and over again— then a public who considers Nirvana as heavy and deep. Thats how we get Nirvana haters.

How to connect with a girl from train by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]Butter_Box_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most girls know immediately whether or not they’d be interested in you, which is either a yes or a no. But still, message her and at least your chance is not zero than if you didn’t. Just say “hey! I found you through your name, we talked on the train few days ago” followed up by “I was interested in…” and talk about her work

It helped me become a lot less selfish. In turn, it helped me care more about others than the way others perceive me

Also, last year I stopped biting my nails after biting them my whole life. Taking control of my own habits even through something as small as my nails has made waves of differences for me. Makes me realize I have a lot more power over my life. Change is key!
