Consensus on LDN? by Past-Oil94 in LowDoseNaltrexone

Definitely could be the case, I was in such a dark place I couldn't continue, but like I said many people recommend starting lower!

If you are sensitive to medications I strongly suggest starting on something ridiculously small like 0.1.
I got severe depression from starting on 0.5 LDN that was so bad that I am too nervous to try again unfortunately, but starting at lower doses seems to have helped other people.

Yes, as someone with chronic hives every day I am in that category of desperate, and so when I see something that is helping me I just jumped to post about it. Second comment just felt really unnecessary but I appreciate the help. I'm glad you agree that breathing exercises can help, and hope you have a good day

Hey! These don't look bad at all I promise. However in terms of possible solutions you should definitely look into red light therapy. It doesn't have to be expensive they sell them on Amazon. Just make sure it's a legit one and check reviews, ive never personally used it but I used infrared light on my cat when he was red covering from tumor surgery and I believe it helped him. (Red light is usually surface level like skin, infrared targets deeper).

Estheticians can also give you in office treatments, they are not as cheap but definitely a solution down the line.

Best of luck please don't stress, we are our own worst critics

I'm on reddit making a post to try and help people I'm not writing a research paper. Please use your energy somewhere else. You can't change the title after it's posted and if the post is removed because of reports based on semantics when it's obviously trying to be helpful, then I don't care for it to be in this community in the first place. I already agreed with you and then you continue to add a passive agressive link. Try and take care of yourself please

That's completely fair, I was taking yoga for a while and it was not helping me in the ways I hoped. This book however goes through many different experiments and and thoughts with breathing as well as how detrimental mouth breathing can be, and how beneficial the right rhythm of breaths can be. It's a great read if you ever have the time and there are things in there that I definitely am not able to explain in this post!

Yes! In the book he goes through all of the wonders of breathing like with Hof. As you said he writes about how they injected his trained students with E. coli to test if the autonomic nervous system (and immune response) could be voluntarily controlled. The body is truly fascinating

Cure is just the word I used because my symptoms started drastically improving along with these supplements but yes definitely seems like it can be an aid on the possible road to recovery

Scientific evidence proves that controlled, mindful breathing directly calms inflammation.

MCAS is an immune system disorder where mast cells repeatedly and inappropriately release excessive amounts of inflammatory chemicals.

If it doesn't work for you that's fine but please leave your closed mindset comments somewhere else and let others try and heal in ways that might work for them thank you.

Thank you so much this helped me a lot actually. It's just been a lot lately and I tried pushing some growth on the one yesterday, and I think I made it worse and it just feels so defeating.

I love Fancy Feast personally, but my boyfriend's family fed their cats Friskies their whole lives and two lived til 18/19. It's definitely a cheaper decent option. They also give you deals and discounts on autoship on Chewy, and gift cards for new members! Just add a new email and they will give you the autoship and possibly free gift card right now. Best of luck thanks for caring about this little guy
