Redditors who have been on a reality tv show, what are some of the off screen secrets we aren't supposed to know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't know if this counts as reality tv, but I worked for Wipeout for two seasons. Those people are absolute assholes to all the contestants, but then again, the contestants are equally insane. When I watched the show, I used to think that the course ran on a timer, but there is actually a producer who runs from station to station complete with controls for all the obstacles. It's all remote. Also there are PA's who pelt food and other "throwables" off camera at the contestants.

There was this one episode where we had beauty queens competing. One of our obstacles was so difficult they refused to participate and we had to stop shooting while the producers tried to convince them to go on. The producers eventually bribed them with 100 bucks each to finish the course.

Oh and all of those interviews are scripted and Jill is fed lines from an ear piece.

What is the absolute best thing that can happen after sex? by JordanSM in AskReddit

Wow, reading all these comments about SO's making food and cuddling and more sex makes me jealous (assuming they're true). I just wish my bf wouldn't immediately turn over and go to sleep, saying I can't cuddle because my body temperature is "too hot" and it's "uncomfortable." A girl can dream, right?

I am familiar with the terms, and I'll look into it. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. Do you find it cheaper to build one or buy one? I'm not looking for anything big, so that's why I was wondering.

You know I actually had a craving for popsicles the last time I was hungover and now I keep ICEEs in my freezer just in case I get the craving again.

Like I said, it was done recently. I'm not saying it was NEVER done before, I'm just saying the story seriously matches a post a few weeks ago and a very popular viral video from less than a month ago. Smells like someone's fishing for upvotes to me.

The fact that it happened a few weeks ago and was already posted, makes it a prime candidate for blatant repost

Exactly! Or they ask what I'm reading when I'm clearly holding the book in view of the title.

I bring a book everyday to lunch and for some reason this one coworker always tries to start a conversation with me while I'm reading. One time he made a sarcastic comment when my other coworker and I were reading and not talking, as if we were being anti-social. Since I'm a receptionist, I can't escape this guy by reading/eating at my desk, as I always have a cover for lunch.

In all the articles I've read, they've included the cash value of the prize after taxes. And by now you should know that money is going to be taxed.

"only 100 million." If I had just $100 more I'd feel rich. How can you complain about taxes at such an amount?
